  • Sonic Prime Season 3 Arriving to Netflix on 11 January 2024

    Sonic Prime's third season will be launching on Netflix on 11th January 2024, offering a new slate of episodes continuing the blue blur's journey through the Shatterverse.

    During Netflix's Geeked Week Saturday Showcase earlier today, a new teaser from the upcoming third season was also shared, in which Sonic and Shadow team up to fight an evil robot that... kind of looks a little similar to both of them? Metal Sonic? Metal Shadow? Who knows? All we do know is that it leads to a rather killer battle sequence.

    It's all in aid to get to Tails Nine, who is leading the charge in this third chapter as the main antagonist of the series. Sonic and Shadow desperately need to reach the rogue variant of the two-tailed hero and help fix the crumbling Shatterverse before it's too late...

    Looks good. Hopefully Nine as the main villain will be a nice twist from Eggman / Eggmen and will add a layer of sympathy and compelxity

    You know, when Sonic, in that trailer, said "It's over, Nine!", I kinda wished Nine's last name was "Thousand", and Sonic said his full name and say...

    Well, you all probably know what I am referencing here.

    I Knew Nine would become the main antagonist ever since the end of part one. And I'm all for it!

    Having Tails (or at least a variant of our beloved twin-tailed buddy) as the true final boss of Prime certainly make a change from Eggman, or whatever eldritch abomination he's unleashed being the final hurdle between Sonic and Total Victory!

    I'm so looking forward to watching the new episodes after watching this trailer of Sonic & Shadow battling that robot together and the team work as well was just epic to watch.

    Oooh! I loved this clip!  It looks like Nine is going to be the villain this season!  I can't wait to see how this all plays out!

    I haven't heard anything about the show being renewed, so I assume this is the last "batch" of episodes (Which makes sense given that this particular story seems to be coming to something of a climax given what's been shown so far).

    I was thinking the same thing about Sonic and Shadow using teamwork!

    That makes me think Shadow is willing to use teamwork, but only when it is really necessary for him.

    It might be, Ian Flynn said that this would be the season that explains how Prime is canon to the games verse.

    I think Nine is having an existential crisis. He knows that he will cease to exist when Sonic unites all the shards. Any trust he had of Sonic likely died during the S2 finale when he found out what Sonic's real plan was.

    I hope not because it's rare to have a show in the actual game Continuity. Plus, I wanted to see the Chaotix.
