  • Official Sonic Heroes E3 Trailer Reveals 'Q1 2004' Release Date

    SEGA has released a high quality version of the E3 Sonic Heroes trailer on its official website, and boy does it make the game look great. It includes the tagline, "Twelve Heroes, All New Team Action, Three Platforms, Here We Go!" as well as a clearer listen to the official theme for the game, which sounds like it's just called "Sonic Heroes".

    It comes with some awesome CG animations, a reveal of Metal Sonic, and the names of the characters you will play as in the game. Team Sonic includes Sonic, Tails and Knuckles, Team Dark includes Shadow, Rouge and a mystery robot, Team Rose includes Amy, Cream the Rabbit and Big the Cat, and Team Chaotix includes Vector the Crocodile, Espio the Chameleon and Charmy the Bee.

    As you can see at the end, the game has a release date of 'Q1 2004', which is weird because we thought it was coming out later this year. This would appear to put a dampener on that idea.

    Anyway, we can't wait to see more as we'll let you know when more Sonic Heroes details come out.
