  • Sonic and Shadow Duke It Out DBZ Style in 'Sonic X Chaotic Battle'

Project releases to community acclaim after three months' work.

We've just learned of an impressive new fan-made animation featuring Sonic and Shadow, created by a dedicated fan who spent over three months working on the project.

The video is called 'Sonic X Chaotic Battle' and involves the two rival hedgehogs fighting it out, Dragonball-Z style. There are loads of cool anime fighting moves, awesome poses and dynamic choreography - even if some of the poses are traced from official art.

It's the brainchild of Jeff Yandura, who wrote and led the animation for this project alongside a number of collaborators. "This is my tribute to the world's two coolest hedgehogs," he wrote on his website

"It took 3.5 months to do this and I am extremely pleased with the results. This is by far the best flash movie I have ever created and I hope to continue improving. Sorry about the filesize, but I guarantee it will be worth the wait. This is a frame by frame movie (roughly about 6 minutes in length) which I worked on very hard."
