    It's finally here! The final demo of the amazing-looking 3D Sonic fan game, Sonic Robo Blast 2, has been released, with new mods and add-ons to come in the coming days.

    The fan game has been a labour of love for the Sonic Team Junior development team, and for group leader SSNTails in particular, as the project has been in the works for the last five years. We previewed an early version of the game back in 2001, but as you'll see the game has come in leaps and bounds since then with many new characters and features added.

    SSNTails announced the launch of the Final Demo version of the game last Thursday, taking the time to also reveal that he will be resigning from the Sonic Team Junior crew in the near future. "This also marks my advance notice of resignation from STJr. I'll probably hang around for a Final Demo v1.1 which will include a small gloss here and there and suggestions from users, but other than that, seeya! Five and a half years is far too long."
