           Lately I have been really into Anime music. I'm don't watch as much anime as I used to, so I've been taking out my old anime albums and listening to them for fun. Especially D.N.Angel. Even though its an old anime that was not very popular, I still enjoyed it. The music for it is quite unique. My favorite song is Friendly afternoon. I love how parts of it sounds like your going underwater. I know thats a weird way to describe a song, but just listen to it to get what I mean. Oh, and if anyone knows about some current anime albums that are good please let me know.

       I really enjoy a lot of fan music made for video games. An album I feel does not get enough credit is Nights into Lucid dreaming (A fan album for Nights into Dreams). Nights fans are very devoted since the games that come out for nights are few and far in-between. Anyway, this fan vocal track is very well made. I am amazed by the fact that it sounds better than the original. If you like it, check out the album at Nightsintodreams.com. Its called Dreams Dreams Disco Nights.

I never played the Scott Pilgrim game I must confess, but I think they did a really fantastic job on the soundtrack. This is easily one of my favorite boss themes I've ever heard, despite never having played the game it's from. To me it actually feels like a pretty blood pumping struggle.

Just finished watching "don't Look Now" for the third or fourth time so I had to look out the music from the love scene.

 

 

Such a beautiful piece, perfect for what is easily the best sex scene ever filmed.

I think words alone cannot describe the sheer amount of awesome this guy is made of. As fun as Jun Sunoue and Tomoya Ohtani are, I think talented fans such as these are all the evidence (Megadrive Band aside) we need that we could could have tons of fun with fan performances.

and hey, there's apparently a chance there'll be a new Pendulum album next year, so been listening to their older stuff too. May have engaged fanboy mode on that bit of news. :D

I hope that's true because as far as I know they seized to be Pendulum to be the inferior Knife Party, which only good song is a remix

 

 

but yeah, I hope they do come out with another album because I love Pendulum. Watercolour, Crush and Self vs. Self being among my favorite songs.

I am a fan of Knife Party, but, its starting to get to a point where everything sounds too much alike, not much innovation there, so getting the whole band back together and stuff should hopefully drive innovation for it.

You do have damn fine taste in their songs though. I pretty much love the whole immersion album, its a perfect album in my eyes, but I love their first two just as much too :D

 

 

anyway, this seems to have crept into my most played as of late, somehow. (damnyoucalvinharrisandelliegouldingyouresodamngood) tongue.png

The arena at my university has music playing outside the entrance 24/7 and it happened to be playing this song yesterday as I walked past it.  I immediately used the song capture app on my phone to look it up, as it took me by surprise.  I've never really listened to much of Wolfmother before, but I'm still in love.  Just... dat riff.
