I'm getting a Labyrinth Zone vibe from Lost Labyrinth.

"Definitly not Sonic 1 HD", they said.

:\

Because Sonic 1 was good and this one sucks.

AHAHA.

I'm just joking. I'm very bitter right now.

I think SEGA should have been a bit more cautious doing a press presentation like that for example I went to an early charity premiere showing for the first Alvin and the Chipmunks movie and before everyone could go in they had to have any cameras and mobile phones taken away until the film was over so no-one could record anything of it, SEGA should have done the same here.

I'm going to stop watching TV since the rarecide to go and watch it something like this hits the net.

1UP and Tristan at TSSZ will no doubt be getting in serious trouble with SEGA and Jordan4K6 you will probably have your YouTube video removed and anyone else YouTubes it.

It's probably on MegaUpload, Rapidshare, Mediafire and about a thousand other filesharing sites already, so there wouldn't really be much point in SEGA even attempting to remove it from so many different places...

... But everybody knows that they'll sure as hell try! XD

Casino Night and Metropolis are from Sonic 2.

And it's not as if the level designs are the same, anyway.

Kinda lame, Sonic Team. That's not classic-like, that's Sonic Advance-like.
It may not be "classic-like", but it's better. I've always preferred having the bosses separate from the levels.

I noticed in the video he didn't use spin dash once... D=

Wanted to see it. (Maybe not in yet, but I heard the sound)

I hope that they find the person who uploaded this, and if he works for Sega... they fire him.

I'm sick to death of people leaking stuff for things that we're all looking forward to, as Kimari says "Pick spot, shut up, wait!"

P.S. he got hit by a motorbug... Robotnik was right, they are more dangerous.

So then Sonic Heroes is a 3D remake of Sonic 2? It had a Casino level.

Why can't you just take it. It's a Sonic game in 2D, on a non-portable consol, and you are complaining. Congratulations.

I just hope yiu won't have to enter the menu while going on to the next level. I want it to just, go from Act 1 to Act 2, with nothing but a little loading screen between them.

Not once in the video did I see him stand still and build up a Spin Dash.

Also lol Youtube Videos getting taken down for a Copyright claim from SOA.

Something that I noticed re-re-re-rewatching the footage. The first Spring that appears (that Sonic jumps over) looks like it could lead to a higher path in the level, so it could be a hint to alternate paths through levels

OMG U GUIYZ.

As much as I love the shit flying all over the place (I forgot my umbrella, it tastes horrible) I gotta say that I think there are conclusions being jumped to. This is alpha.

The music sounds fine. The spinnyrun looks alright, the model looks ok, and... Sonic Rush was actually a good game.

I know people want Sonic 4, but I'm just happy as long as we get a really good game. This could actually be really good. Also 3 acts per zone? That's pretty noice.

GENTLEMEN.

I draw your attention to the Splash Hill thumbnail.

Notice, if you please, how time has progressed and it is now sunset; with a duller, browner pallete?

Knuckles' Chaotix Isolated Island, anyone?

Watch it again please. Note Sonic actually rolling in a ball up and down slopes.

And besides, just 'cause we didn't see it doesn't mean it won't be in the game.

So NOW people care about the game play. What ever happened to the mindless bitching about Sonic's model? Seems pretty insignificant now doesn't it?

Hmm I have mixed feelings about this leak. I likes the atmosphere and all but the physics is something the developers need to hit up ASAP. other than that, I'm loving it(lol mcdonalds). The homing attack was different than what I expected...and there was a lock-on cross-hair on the spring for it but like others say, as long as it's not essential to playing the game, it's fine with me.

Man, the shitstorms now are weirder than I've seen in the past. Some people are complaining that Sonic's too fast, some are complaining he's too slow. I do think Sonic seems a bit... lighter than usual though. I guess it's finally enough to actually comment on rather than speculate, but I'm not making any final judgment calls before the release build (because I seriously doubt this is final.)

So my opinion? Sonic accelerates WAY too fast. Look at 55 seconds in, he just makes a sudden boost as he hits the ground. His top speed is pretty slow in comparison to He's also very light. It just doesn't seem that friction exists. The slope physics seem pretty good though; the way he had trouble getting up that last curve at the end of the video seems pretty natural compared to S3&K (assuming the player was holding "right" when he was stationary on that top curve.) The boost placement didn't seem so bad; there wasn't anything for it to assist you with before that spring. Speaking of, why does Sonic bounce when he just touches the springs? What happened to having to JUMP on the springs to bounce?

All in all, it looks great so far but they still need to adjust Sonic's physics.

At the beginning of the video when the player is choosing a level what does that text say next to the blue X button at the top left of the screen?

Maybe I should of been more clear on the type of Spin Dashing. >.>

Anyway I did point that out in my first post in this thread.
