Fan Poll Character Battle 2003: Knuckles Moves Onto Next Round

GameFAQs' second Great Character Battle event continues, and there's some good news to report from the Sonic camp! Knuckles took on Final Fantasy character Yuna in yesterday's latest poll and came out swinging, as the red porcupine on the block with the buff chest moves onto the next round of the tournament.

The victory follows Sonic and Shadow's success in the contest earlier this month, with Sonic beating Ken Masters and Shadow beating Wario to reach the second round. Tails, unfortunately, lost to Auron (another Final Fantasy character) and won't be moving forward.

Still, three out of four Sonic characters winning their respective first battles is nothing to sniff at. More rounds for Sonic, Shadow and Knuckles are on the way - let's work together to make sure these guys stay on top in future battles!
