New Sonic official Japan account art featuring Sonic and Blaze setting off lanterns at the "lantern festival'. Looks great I think.

In terms of wishes...I think Sonic wished for the ultimate Chilli Dog, Blaze a new pair of shoes

Still its nice that so much art is getting pumped out. Its at least a small reminder that these characters won't be left behind. Blaze has been MIA in the main series since..... Gens? yikes. Least she will technically be back in the remake.

For some reason when I saw festival of lights and Blaze, I thought they were in India! Misconceptions aside, this is very good!

She was in Team Sonic Racing, I believe. At least, I'm 99% sure TSR is canon.

She was, and there is little reason to consider it non-canon

 

I just don't consider it "main series". Its not functionally different to any of her appearances in the Mario and Sonic games.
