This is green-eyed Sonic with chao, so it's the modern variant. Still weird that Sega is segregating the two 'ages,' and that they didn't choose Classic Sonic to begin with, but that's a conversation that's been had before and shall be had again.

You do make a point, but I really think they should make some Sonic channel art with Trip. Well, considering that she is kind of a dragon, it would be fair.
