Simple, I know some don't like that song, at all, so I thought mentioning that would be a good way to make an attempt to get them scared, even if it is not by that much in the end.

Love it! Sage making it look like Eggman and the Koco in the back make a very nice touch. If I made an Eggman snowman, I would use a lot of eggs!

She bounces back and forth in-game, so I figure that's going to continue to be the case afterward.

It's not really confirmed, but it seems like her colors reflect her emotions? She goes into blue and white for particularly emotional moments in the game, so it may be a visual indicator of Sage experiencing strong feelings. Not saying that's absolutely confirmed, just what seems to be the reason.
