Sonic Team Games PSO Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution Beta Test Planned For July

An open beta trial of the next Phantasy Star Online game, C.A.R.D. Revolution, is being planned, for Japanese players who pre-ordered the game. Sonic Team announced (via excite.jp) that it will be selecting 10,000 users to participate in the trial, which will begin on July 24th.

No Hunter License will be required of players interested in joining - the only prerequisites are a modem (or broadband adapter) for the Gamecube, and a Japanese address to deliver the beta trial.

To be in with a chance, fans will need to register their interest on the SEGA Direct website from 1pm Japan Time on Friday 6 June - it's first come, first served! Once in, players will be able to enjoy a selection of the card-battling online RPG with members of Sonic Team from 24 July - 31 August 2003, from the hours of 10am - midnight every day.
