The first basketball game in America was held on this day in 1892!

Apparently the NBA record for most points in a single game is 186 points, but how many points can Sonic score in a single game?

Breaking ankles in the new "Sonic Hoops" when?

No really, I'm kinda surprised there hasn't been a Sonic basketball game yet.

I do actually remember seeing a couple of Sonic-branded basketball arcade games at my local bowling alley. They've since been removed though.

Ahh now see that's a Sonic "themed" basketball game. But non the less, cool to see. I think so far the closest we got was the old Heroes LCD games. Good ol' Shadow basketball.

I am now reminded of Rough and Tumble's "Stink Bomber with a Grand Slam" from issue two of IDW's "Bad Guys" miniseries. Easily one of the duo's greatest moments thus far. Even Dr. Starline was impressed.

I Imagine him playing for the Seattle Supersonics!:chuckle:Really sad that they disbanded. Left a whole city in shock. Voting for Ice hockey Sonic!
