The graphics do look downgraded a bit.  But you can honestly skip xv and still not really lose anything storywise

Kinda dissapointed Nintendo didn't show Xenoverse 2 at E3. Wanted to know how well tha game runs.

My biggest wonder is what will happen to Goku Black. Will he be DLC or just not available?

Seems like the Spirit Bomb Sword is a possible skin for Trunks? He's using it on his normal form and it's no cutscene.

Also we get some additional details not gonna cover the mall but a big one is the switch version will not include all the DLC however it will include Goku black which is apparently coming up or something. I'm on my tablet if someone wants to go grab the full details feel free also I want to say it's confirmed for September in Japan

Not really getting why they changed the colors. Oh well...

So you don't get the DLC with the game... I mean, it's fair since it was the same for us.

And Black too is great since he was a pre-order thing for the other systems. He isn't really amazing but it's cool to have.

Reminder: There will be a live-stream today about DLC 4.I will post a status when it happens.

With the new livestream we got some new info:

1. DLC is out on the 27th, and the free update will be around the same time.

2. Future Trunks does not have Super Saiyan Rage. Instead, he has a new Ultimate: Sword of Hope which acts like an Awoken Skill. It changes you melee attacks and give you super armor, but it drains ki.

3. The free updare will include (as far as roster additions):

- 2 new SSB Goku variations: Normal Gi and Damaged Gi (which has SSB Kaioken)

- 1 new SSB Vegeta variation: Normal Suit

- 2 new Future Trunks variations: Green Clothes and Capsule Corp. Clothes

- 1 new Kid Trunks variation: Yellow Clothes

4. Fused Zamasu has ki blasts as his Triangle Attacks (they look different from the Circle ones), but they can still Stamina break.

5. Saiyan Tails do not move.

6. We should get the PC Patch soon which changes "SSGSS" to "Super Saiyan Blue" and "Goku Black (Super Saiyan Rosé Goku Black)" to "Rosé Goku Black".

7. As @The Tenth Doctor said, we might still get more DLCs.

Fucking finally Bamco. your naming conventions LITERALLY broke the text box the developers put in place, so much so TFS made fun of it in one of their TFS gaming videos.

VegettoEX from Kanzenshuu posted some new Xenoverse 2 Switch info:

This week’s August 2017 issue of Shueisha’s V-Jump magazine reveals an 07 September 2017 Japanese release date alongside the previously-announced ¥6,800 retail price for the Nintendo Switch port of last year’s Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2 video game.

As initially revealed in last month’s issue of V-Jump, the Nintendo Switch version in Japan will — for a limited time — come packaged with the original story mode (“Legend Patrol”) from 2014’s first Dragon Ball XENOVERSE game. The physical version will include this addition through its 31 December 2017 printing, while the download edition will include the bonus through 27 December 2017. It has been specifically noted that only the story missions will be available; the first game’s Toki Toki City is not included, and certain circumstances may appear slightly different.

Beyond this first-printing bonus, those who pre-order the game will also receive a download code to unlock 87 additional playable characters immediately; paid downloadable content characters are not included as a part of this bonus. The downloadable version of the game will contain this pre-order bonus up through 03 October 2017.

  • In television mode, the game will run at a maximum of 900p (1600×900), while in portable mode it will run at 720p (1280×720)
  • Standard one-on-one fights will run at 60 frames per second, while other gameplay will run at 30 frames per second
  • The game will support up to six players online, and will require a paid subscription to Nintendo’s online service when it launches (similar to other platforms)
  • Additional downloadable content is not included by default, but will be available on the Nintendo eShop (similar to other platforms)
  • There will be minor adjustments to certain items and objects in comparison to versions on other platforms
  • Specific Switch functionality includes the ability to take screenshots, special attacks with motion control, one-on-one battles with Joy-Cons, and the immediate inclusion of Goku Black as a playable character along with Tao Paipai’s pillar as a flying mount in Conton City (items which previously debuted as “Day One” bonus items on other platforms)

Took most of the article, the original one is here:

So, Rage Trunks and Monster Zamasu are in the story, but not playable. Also, Monster Zamasu has only new moves.

DLC 5 incoming?
