Konami, you're not you when you're angry. I'd give you a Snickers but the survey doesn't have that option. I don't think even a Snickers can save you now anyway.

I can't remember the last time a company had such a meltdown.

I can remember the last three companies to try hard for a meltdown: Capcom, EA and Ubisoft. Square Enix is also well on its way if they fuck it up with the FFVII remake.
