"Who hijacked that machine?!"

Battle Droid: "I think one of the Stormtroopers did it."

Mephiles: *slams his hand on his chair*

"Well, time to tear out his heart and eat it."

*The battle droid quickly leaves*

*meanwhile*

*Meowkie arrives back at the office*

Nightwing: ''I'm ready to deduct our next lead''

[Failinhearts]

Tails: "It's all my fault."

"I thought I could put an end to the war."

"But doing something that only a writer should do just isn't possible."

Madoka: "It's OK, buddy. We just have to fix RITE and everything will be better!"

Homura: "Madoka, you make it sound so easy... The world is never that easy."

"I have a feeling that the Metarex is involved."

Tails: "You think? We have to keep an eye out for them if any made it through."

"They're the biggest threat in all of the fctional realm, after all."

*NIGHTWING DEDUCTION*

''Both of you get your coats. We're going to the Crossing Club.''

*He opens the letter, revealing the three tickets to the Crossing Club*

''We've got our next lead''

*Sayaka's cleaning up the tables*

*Meanwhile, Nightwing grabs his fedora and coat*

Meowkie: "I found someone interestin' while I was over at Rarity's ... Rarity."

Rarity: "And this odd dog that showed up at my door."

Serena: "For the last time, I'm the goddess of this town!"
Meowkie: "Normally, boss, I would pass you off as delusional, but with all the weird stuff goin' on, I might just have to trust you."

Sonic: "I hope we find something."

"Well, if we don't..."

"At least we can eat something while we're there."

*grabs a fedora*

Jessica felt a bit stupid standing around, and by extension Robinson. "Anything I can do to help?" Jessica asked.

"I wonder where Lumina and Shade are during all this?" Robinson tweeted.

*Nightwing nods to Meowkie*

''We'll have to figure it out later''

''Right now, we've got to get down to the mystery of this!''

''Now let's go!''

*Nightwing, Meowkie, and Sonic goes to the Crossing Club*

*Bouncer*

''Hmph. Tickets?''

Nightwing: ''Right here''

*Hands him the tickets*

'Bouncer: ''Go ahead in.''

*The three enter the club, it's completely packed as they are led to a table with three seats right beside the stage*

*Terra waits them*

Terra: ''Can I get you guys a drink?''

Homura: "Can you locate pieces of RITE?"

"Or at least other threats?"

"That can prove you useful for once..."

Madoka: "Homura!"

[Klinsy]

Meowkie: "Hey, isn't that Punchy? He looks sad..."

"Accordin' to Rosie, Punchy really did love that fish. He's supposedly the only one he hasn't ate instead."

"Anyways, get me some milk, I'm a good kitty, I don't drink that beer stuff."

"What do you mean there is no milk?"

"OK," Jessica asked, "what do they look like?" Under her breath, she muttered, "Also a thank you for all the times fought with you would be nice..."

Robinson glared at Homura with his beady black eyes.

*Nightwing gives her a few coins*

''Get the milk. me and Sonic here will have a Pepsi''

*Terra nods*

''Right away sir''

*Terra arrives back with the drinks*

*music begins playing as the curtains begin to pull back*

Nightwing: ''Looks like the show's starting''

Madoka: "Just find something really technologically advanced."

"It's the 1950s, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find."

MEANWHILE...

Sonic: "A show?"

"Let's give it a watch."

[Spin Attaxx]

"OK," Jessica said. With that, she and Robinson walked off in search of anachronisms. Jessica giggled slightly. She felt like she should be wearing a trenchcoat, fedora and high heels. Well, minus the heels - boots for life, yo.

"Jessica!" Robinson chirped. "Look! Over there! By that tree!"

*Nightwing laughs slightly*

''Why Sonic? Hoping to see a hot girl sing?''

*Just remember...we're on a ca--''

*The curtains open up as the girl walks onto the stage*

*Nightwing's eyes widen slightly*

*Starfire walks out, beginning to sing*

(Context: Song's is called Betcha Never and it's from Batman Mystery of the Batwoman. Thought it'd be appropriate since it is a song actually sung in Penguin's Iceberg Louge Club in the movie. The video is a fanmade version though due to wanting a version without the characters talking in the background, and because it actually does have Starfire in it)

Tails: "What did you find?"

"Is it a piece of RITE?"

*looks at the tree*

"YES! We found one!"

[Spin Attaxx]

Robinson flew up to the tree and tried to lift it out. That didn't work, so he instead pushed it out. Jessica caught it as it fell and gave it to the group.

*A lot of cheering is heard from around the club*

Random people: ''WOOOOOOO''

*Nightwing continued to watch the show*

*he ignored the drink*

[Klinsy]

Serena: "They really left you alone here? Isn't that dangerous?"

Rarity: "They're detectives, darling, I'm sure they know what they're doing."

Rosie: "And Meowkie is my friend, she will make sure she wouldn't do something without considering the consequences."

Serena: "Even in a place of black and white, all that gave the village color remains. Amazing."

Sonic: "You gonna drink that?"

"Not like I'm gonna..."

Tails: "So that's one. Three to go, right?"

Homura: "Yes."

*Nightwing shakes his head*

*he takes a sip*

*As Starfire sings, she comes close to the three*

*She grabs Nightwing's collar*

Starfire: ''You three. I want you backstage after this number''

Suddenly, a shout came over from the distance: "GIVE THAT BACK, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS!"

"L-Lumina?" Jessica asked.

"I KNOW WHAT IT IS - IT'S MINE, AND I'LL USE IT FOR EVIL!"

"Shade," Robinson grumbled.

"C'mon, you lot," Jessica said, running off to the shouting.

*Sayaka is busy cleaning the dishes in the back*

Sayaka: "What did Mega Man want with those dishes?"

*tries washing them with her water powers*

"Heh, this isn't so bad!"
