This was a sick matchup from King of Cali:

 

 

aMSa stepped up his game in that matchup, and you can tell he did better with utilizing those eggs. He looks like he could have developed a few combos there, but we'll see. M2K definitely wasn't on his A-game though; seeing as how the crowd was jeering for his head, and M2K starts to lose it when that happens.

Keep in mind too everyone, that EVO 2014 starts tomorrow. I will be hollering about it just like I did with MLG.

 

So no one plays brawl at these stuff huh? Lol not surprised.

 

They do. It just gets very low coverage.

Ugh, this final match-up from Kings of Cali just burns me up!

Armada was wiping the floor with Mango, but because of some technical rules he still loses the whole tourney.

Just saw a match between a Fox and a Captain Falcon and the Falcon player did some REALLY crazy stuff, seems like things are finally heating up.

 

Saw a Nintendo ad too, as others have mentioned it's really strange seeing Nintendo ads at a gamer-focused event like this.

Darkrain is an old school Falcon.  A lot of the old school players, whilst not as crisp as the newer ones, opt for some really interesting options.  I feel often they're sometimes a little more creative with the characters they work with, and it's easier to define their playstyles a bit better.

 

I must say though, seeing MK8 ads on stream is somewhat heartwarming too.  Surreal, but heartwarming.

And the award for the most boring by the books Fox ever goes to PewPewU yay!  It was very solid mind you, just very dull to watch.  Shame too because his Marth is pretty cool.

Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place. I love Axe, but I love Hugz. I feel bad that Hugz lost, but I love how Axe won.

Damn that set between Axe and Mango was insanely close.  Game 3 last stock wow.  If Axe took that I would've flipped.
