Dr. Crusher Presents: The 30 Days of Sonic the Hedgehog (sponsored by PowerVerte)-Fin, PAGE 150

Question #1: Hmmm. I will probably go with S3&K.

#2: Now this is an even harder one. It's split between Colors, SA1, and Generations.

I think I'll go with SA1, probably because of nostalgia; it brings back memories of listening to the soundtrack while on the bus taking me home from school, and it sounds like something I should've heard 14 or so years ago.

#3: Never. I was never into writing stories or fanfics.

#4: It'd be a stalemate of awkward attack and idle motions.

#5: Hmm... I would saaay... Sadiq, Can of Nothing, and Crusher.

And with that:

Here's to a great event. Cheers, Crusher.

Oh hey, I'm not late for bonus round though!

Bonus Question #1: What's your top favourite soundtrack from a CLASSIC game?

Bonus Question #2: What's your top favourite soundtrack from a MODERN game?

Bonus Question #3: Have you ever created your own fancharacter, and if so, what are they all about? (Note: Please don't feel ashamed if you have made one/a few, because I believe that there are good Sonic fancharacters out there, overshadowed by the majority as they may be.)

Bonus Question #4: If a Black Warrior and an Iblis Biter engaged in a standoff in the style of Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West, who would be the last one standing?

Bonus Question #5: Who would you say are your best/closest/etc friends on the Sonic Stadium?

1 ) Sonic CD JP, without a doubt. It's on my top 10 of favorite game soundtracks ever, so it kind of makes it's place up there. 3K is a worthy contender behind it, but neither of the first two Sonics are any slouches either (what with their songs being considered so iconic). And dang it, man, Chaotix and both versions of 3D Blast are also god-tier as well! Geez.

2 ) Sonic Adventure. It's the most robust by a landslide, and the soundtrack is from top to bottom catchy and awesome to listen to. Unleashed almost won this one, but it lost by a slight inch of not having my nostalgia buds tingling as much for Unleashed as they do for SA1.

3 ) I had a godawful one back when I first came here. Brownish-goldish Shadow recolor with Tails' front hairs. He had spiky shoes and black stripes/blotches on his spikes and hair tuft. He had a scythe and had a particularly interesting name that had such an amazingly stupid origin that I had to keep it as my internet name for the rest of my days.

4 ) Considering the Iblis Biter technically doesn't exist due to 06lol, the other guy wins.

5 ) Indigo RushRen/AR, and Cola are the closest bros I got here. Silva Rymes, MimiAptiva and D-Metal-X too; but they don't go here much anymore. I love those guys loads though. :j

#Bonus Questions:

1:

Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Every track is very well made and memorable. Very appropriate for a game mostly seen as the best of the Classic titles.

2:

It took me a while do decide this one but ultimately I chose go with Sonic Unleashed.  Not only is it my favorite Sonic soundtrack, it's also one of my favorite video game soundtracks period.  Every single track is this soundtrack is so well composed (except for one that was made bad on purpose.  You know the one and even it's good) and a good majority of the music was developed by TWO of my favorite Sonic music composers.

3:

I made one back when I was in middle school.  His name was Trailblazer and he was basically a green Sonic with more spikes and energy powers.

4:

The Black Warrior easily as the Black Arms have access to firearms which can make quick work of an Iblis creature; even if said Iblis creature had a beefy healthbar.

5:

Hmmm...the only member on this forum I've friended is Emmett L. Brown.  Been a member for a year now but I'm not on this site very often.  Oh well.

That's all from me!

Bonus Round~! 8D Or would this be Extra Stage?

My favorite Modern Soundtrack is Sonic Colors hands down. I'm a border line rabid Colors fangirl if you couldn't tell by now. xDDD;;; Just every theme in that game tickles my ears. And the different styles for the planets so they fit is wonderful. I adore the soundtrack. ♥♥♥

My favorite Classic Soundtrack is Sonic 2. Mm~ I like all the themes in that game, my favorite being Mystic Cave.

And my best friend huh? Well that would be Wooly, cause he's the one bothering keeping up with me off the site. XD

BQ #1: Sonic CD (JP): So good! I never had a SEGA CD as a kid, so I didn't grow up with Sonic CD or its American soundtrack, which also means I'm not nostalgia biased. The Japanese OST is just a lot more fun to listen to whilst rolling around at the speed of sound. Tidal Tempest Present in particular is probably my favorite track from the entire series.

BQ#2: Sonic Generations: I know they're primarily remixes, but they're REALLY FUCKING GOOD REMIXES! Too many songs on this soundtrack made me squeal with joy the first time listening. Death Egg Robo, Stardust Speedway Bad (JP), Sky Sanctuary, and Casino Night Zone just to name a few. Even the short loops Balloon Park and Sonic 3D Blast Theme that played during some of the side missions are fantastic.

BQ#3: Nope. Never been big on the whole fan fiction/characters scene. I'm sure there's great stuff out there somewhere, but I just can't be bothered to look into it.

BQ#4: In a perfect world, they would both murder each other, effectively removing themselves from the cannon.

BQ#5: Oh Christ I don't know. I will say I have gained a fair amount of respect for Crusher throughout this whole 30 Days of Sonic spiel. It's gotta be stressful keeping up with the shitstorm in this thread. But I don't really know anyone well enough to call them frien, unless some of my real life friends are hiding in here without my knowledge.

SPECIAL STAGE: 5 QUESTION SPECTACULAR

I don't have anything special planned for this, so here it goes!

Bonus Question #1: What's your top favourite soundtrack from a CLASSIC game?

Sonic 3 & Knuckles, hands down. But if we need to count S3&K separately, I'd go with Sonic 3 alone.

Bonus Question #2: What's your top favourite soundtrack from a MODERN game?

Kinda difficult to place, but I think Sonic Unleashed had the strongest and most diverse soundtrack

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o92fJGwPbi4

Bonus Question #3: Have you ever created your own fancharacter, and if so, what are they all about?

A friend of mine drew this for me, actually. I haven't drawn my own character in... in years.

But yeah, he's a sword-wielding demigod Porcupine who... who doesn't have much of a personality. I was in my early teens when I created him, and he's evolved quite a bit. Used to be a red Sonic recolor... now he's a red Sonic recolor with clothes and upward spikes! Creative, eh? And he has fanficiton which you should never, ever read.

Ever.

...I was 17 stupid

If you want, I'll color him in. Anyone want me to color in SH the Porcupine? Anyone? I'll totally do it. ...for old times sake.

Hmmm... in the several years I've been a member (both pre and post-server wipe), I think I can say that Azookara, Dr Mechano, and Discoid are my best friends here. Haven't talked to some of them consistently, but I feel comfortable talking with them on a number of issues inside and outside of the Sonic series. Cheers, my friends!

BONUS QUESTIONS: THE RETURN OF ROSA

FAVORITE CLASSIC SOUNDTRACK

I'd have to say either Sonic 3 (and Knuckles) or 8 Bit Sonic 1. Sonic 3's soundtrack is probably the one I run into the most. It's super cool and catchy and I just love everything about. GG/MS S1 is also one of my favorites, since I'm a huge sucker for these chiptune thingermajiggers. Also, I kinda find this game's soundtrack slightly better than the original.

FAVORITE MODERN SOUNDTRACK

This one's a bit more complicated, because I have such a huuuuuge list of favorites it's not even funny. Adventure 1, Advance 3, Rush (and its sequel) and Generations all share the top spot for the same reason, more or less. Each one of these are all super varied and every song in these games are extremely memorable. Especially Adventure's soundtrack.

FAN CHARACTERS

Why, yes I have! Several actually. One of them's a happy-go-lucky Labrador Retriever named Skippy, another is his adopted hedgehog/cat hybrid sister named Dayna who's his polar opposite and the oldest character in my book is a Classic Sonic-esque chubby brown hedgehog I can't remember the name of. He kinda looks like how Fleetway Sonic did waaaaay before he turned blue and yadda yadda.

BLACK WARRIOR VS IBLIS BITER

Black Warrior. If I remember correctly, the Iblis Biter is a demon dog. And dogs can't really do much against someone with weapons, can they? Well, unless they're trying to bite the dude's leg or something. But yeah, the Iblis Biter loses.

CLOSET FRIENDS

Oh, well...

There's Spinny, Ele, Felix and Felix 2, Endy, Soniko, Brad, w00t, knucklesgirl, Jin, goku, DOOM/Uni, FourCartridge, Soma, Victoes, Wraith, chibi, Soni, everyone who I run into on Skype, just about everyone on my friends list aaaaand you, Dr. Crusher!

Each and every single one of you have done so much for me and helped me when I was feeling a bit down or moody or angry. You've all gone out of the way to be sure I was having a good time here. You've all dealt with me for what's almost been a year, and I'm just about surprised I've stayed for that long. With all of those chats and Tabletop RPGs to those silly little moments in the status updates and being some of the first few people not to shy away from the artwork I make.

Thanks to all of you, you've all made some of the best company I've had in a forum for a looong time. It's actually very nice to see that you all care deeply not only for me, but for each other as well.

And thanks to ol' Crusher, for giving his all out on pulling through some tough moments during his life to dedicate 30(+1) days for a long lasting event like this.

You're all awesome people, and congrats for making it through this.

Oooooo, a bonus round. Nice.

Bonus Question #1: What's your top favourite soundtrack from a CLASSIC game?

Flying Battery, bar none. It's just so fast-paced you can't help but jam to it and say "Aw Yeah, this is happinin'!" It's very upbeat, but also has a great sense of danger and suspense.

Bonus Question #2: What's your top favourite soundtrack from a MODERN game?

Big Arm Cash-Cash remix. This theme is perfection. Seriously, just listen to it:

While Cash-Cash may not be that great with their vocals, they sure have talent in remixing music.

Bonus Question #3: Have you ever created your own fancharacter, and if so, what are they all about?

Eh, I haven't really created one yet, but I have thought of one for a fan-fiction I was going to write, but later dumped.

Basically, the whole premise around the whole thing would be the Three Hedgehogs, Three Doctors, and three Replicas. I was going to attempt to fix things about the hedgehogs' personalities, pasts, and directions my way, but I couldn't do that without a robot for Shadow. Basically, the idea around him is that by the end of the year, a sensor scans the earth, and activates a capsule just like the one Shadow was in. Out of the capsule comes a robot, with the objective typed into the screen "Destroy the Ultimate Lifeform". I hadn't worked out what he would look like, as another metal Sonic would be sort of redundant, but basically, he exists to annihilate the ultimate lifeform before it falls into the "wrong hands", which in this case would be GUN. Gerald built him to harness chaos energy the same way Chaos Zero's do, and as a fail-safe if the earth wasn't destroyed by the ARK. Basic abilities include chaos powers, turning into a small-scale chaos 0, and with all chaos emeralds... well, I never got to that point, but still, it would probably be big.

In hindsight, this wouldn't have worked so well, as Metal Sonic 2.0 would make the original sort of... redundant.

Bonus Question #4: If a Black Warrior and an Iblis Biter engaged in a standoff in the style of Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West, who would be the last one standing?

Depends. If they were allowed weapons, the Black Warrior wins easily, as the biter would still be trying to figure out what to do with the thing before it could even react. If there were no weapons, though... I'd feel sorry for the warrior's poor butt.

Bonus Question #5: Who would you say are your best/closest/etc friends on the Sonic Stadium?

|:[

Again, no friends here. I guess you could count everyone from the SEGA forums as my friends, though, but that's the closest you're gonna get to having any here.

Bonus Question #1: What's your top favourite soundtrack from a CLASSIC game?

Sonic The Hedgehog 3's soundtrack. I like it best because of Michael Jackson's involvement during a musical period when he was still catchy and unique. I love him as an artist, and his style breathes through a lot of the work well before fans went through the process of technically determining it was him. The mid-boss theme (which should be your favorite song too), Hydrocity, Marble Garden, the final boss theme, Blue Spheres, and practically every versus level theme are my absolute favorites.

Bonus Question #2: What's your top favourite soundtrack from a MODERN game?

Sonic Unleashed's soundtrack by miles. First, I love the amount of style influence necessitated by the use of different cultures in the game which gives the soundtrack a notable amount of different instruments. I love the the division between the upbeat pop rock stylings of the day stages and the jazz for the night; despite the repetitive battle theme, I feel the Werehog's music is ultimately the best and the easiest audio clue of the “Pixar” influence the most, particularly in Arid Sands and Skyscraper Scamper. There isn't actually a song on this soundtrack I outright hate.

Bonus Question #3: Have you ever created your own fancharacter, and if so, what are they all about?

I say without shame that I've created many a fancharacter in my time, although at this point only three have stuck with me as mains.

My oldest is Nepenthe (trololol), a hedgehog without superpowers of any kind, who thus ekes his living out as a bouncer in an inner city club. He is brash, street tough, emotional, hedonistic and short-sighted but fiercely loyal. He dabbles in art, is earning his GED, and owns a ridiculous talking dog created by my friend who pisses him off all the time due to said dog's natural ignorance of common social graces. Penth lets the dog continue to live with him due to its sheer inability to cope and annoyingly-cute face.

My second is Aldagar, a half-blind yorkshire terrier most known for being a pariah in a village populated by dogs who lean more to the animal side than human: barking, a strong olfactory sense, digging, etc. are part of the package. Years of exclusion make it difficult for him to warm up to others, but close friends know him as basically a calm teddy bear who wears his emotions and desires on his sleeve as dogs do. He is best known as a secret agent and de facto mascot of said agency due to his tolerance of being jostled and tugged. Has a goofy costume.

My latest is Claudio, a lyrebird. Being a lyrebird, he has perfect mimicry ability, can sing and dance, and has the power to manipulate sound within reason. Being a bird in general, he is easily hurt and thus frightened out of battle, having learned Parkour to get away from scrapes he causes with his constant womanizing and smart mouth. He also retains the two long lyrebird tailfeathers, which are prehensile and uneasily plucked: they can support his entire body weight. Romantic, lackadaisical, melodramatic, and a bit nuts, he's my most cartoony and thus fun fancharacter. Also has a goofy costume (and a music video appearance!) but I freaking ripped the face off because it broke. He looks like a Japanese horror creature right now but will be made better in due time.

Bonus Question #4: If a Black Warrior and an Iblis Biter engaged in a standoff in the style of Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West, who would be the last one standing?

This is a trick question because Sonic would just come along and destroy them both with a Homing Attack anyway.

But no seriously, it would be the foot soldier with a weapon. Because it's a foot soldier with a weapon.

Bonus Question #5: Who would you say are your best/closest/etc friends on the Sonic Stadium?

My best friends exclusive to the Stadium? Well, all of staff have naturally gotten closer to me after promotion. They've helped me out a lot, by providing support, pointing out my fuck-ups, and listening to me bitch about something, so all in all they're mah bros. Love you guys. I also consider Verte and Azoo mah friends due to our similar interests and opinions on all things Sonic 8P, FromASloth's a fellow SCAD student so shout-out there, and Lime and me have got our seiyuu synergy going.

DAY 30: BONUS TIME:

Bonus Question #1: What's your top favourite soundtrack from a CLASSIC game?

I love Sonic 3 & Knuckles' soundtrack. If I had to choose, I would pick the Sonic & Knuckles half. It has both Sandopolis (which I mentioned somewhere in this thread before) and Flying Battery, as well as Doomsday Zone. Normally I think the Genesis soundchip is a little too "tinny" but Sonic 3 & Knuckles (and other Sonic games/Streets of Rage) really play to its strengths.

Bonus Question #2: What's your top favourite soundtrack from a MODERN game?

I feel as though Sonic Generations really has the best of all of them. It has two good renditions of City Escape, the best rendition of Crisis City, and it even has the best rendition of Rooftop Run. Not to mention, its classic remixes and bonus tracks are fantastic.

Bonus Question #3: Have you ever created your own fancharacter, and if so, what are they all about?

Not much of an answer for this one. I never made a fan character. I'm not one of those creative types, nor am I the kind of person who likes showing his work to others. :V

Granted, even if I did, chances are I would be too embarrassed to even share it here. Not that I would make one or anything baka etc.

Bonus Question #4: If a Black Warrior and an Iblis Biter engaged in a standoff in the style of Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West, who would be the last one standing?

Assuming guns are used, the Black Warrior would be the last one standing. After all, the Iblis Biter (AKA THRILL LIZARD) probably wouldn't be able to grip the gun properly with those claws. The bipedal creatures would win. If guns are not allowed then it's a pretty fair fight, but the edge still goes to Black Warrior for his strength. The biter cant compete with his brutality.

Bonus Question #5: Who would you say are your best/closest/etc friends on the Sonic Stadium?
Don't have much of an answer for this one. I haven't even added any yet, but for what it's worth, I think all of you are pretty awesome. Everyone I've talked to here is pretty civil and usually very respectful of others, so I like all y'all. Except YOU. Yeah, you. You know who you are.

But really, like it has been said before; I'm kind of new here and I'm a bit careful of who I consider a friend. That doesn't mean most of you aren't awesome or anything.

So that's all of them, I think. Very nice event, Crusher (and Vertekins if you really are a sponsor).

Day 31: BONUS STAGE

Bonus Question #1: What's your favorite soundtrack from a CLASSIC game?

This ones actually a tough choice. As much as I'd like to lick the shaft of S3&K, it honestly has a very tough act to compete with. The one and only classic Sonic soundtrack that's truly worth it's salt is Sonic CD, which almost isn't fair since it's one of the very few games back then that actually had CD quality music, which the composers spared no expense in exploiting. Both the Eastern and Western versions are equally stellar and have amazing atmosphere more rich and immersive than almost any other soundtrack in the series.

Bonus Question #2: What's your top favourite soundtrack from a MODERN game?

This one's an actually hard choice, since I can't decide between Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2. Both games are equally great in their own right, and the same goes for their music. But I'd have to pick SA1's soundtrack as the better one, primarily due to the better variety. It has the best mix of fast-paced action themes and slower, more ambient themes.

Bonus Question #3: Have you ever created your own fancharacter, and if so, what are they all about?

................................................

*sigh*

.........

Sonicchannelvirgo2.png

This is Virgo The Cougar. I made him way back when (I believe freshman in highschool), around the same time I discovered my second favorite color was green. Like most people I had it as my internet name for a long time, and have been trying to phase it out for a while now. I hadn't come up with any concrete backstory or special powers for it, though I had played around with a couple different ideas way back when, most of them pretty stupid, but if nothing else I at least tried to avoid falling into the same pit falls that other fancharacters had fallen into, hence the 'deviant' species choice, and wanted to keep him as 'normal' as possible.

Also, for the sake of the getting it off my chest, I actually had a second fancharacter, or at least a second idea for a fancharacter, since I never got it drawn (my older sister is responsible for illustrating it, btw). He was meant to be an "Shadow the Hedgehog" version of my first character, i.e nearly identical looking, 'evil' rival to my first character with a red motif instead of green. If I were to actually flesh these characters out I'd do something different, but that's what my original idea for those two was. If I'm sounding too vague, it's because it'd be too embarrassing to describe them to any further detail.

Despite trying to disown myself from them, I do keep a small piece of it with me. In games with custom character creators, I usually base one or two characters on their general design (using the same color scheme and such), but that's mainly due to my lack of creativity.

Bonus Question #4: If a Black Warrior and an Iblis Biter engaged in a standoff in the style of Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West, who would be the last one standing?

The Black Arms have guns......

and swords.....

.... and health bars.

Bonus Question #5: Who would you say are your best/closest/etc friends on the Sonic Stadium?

Way back when we had a Tinychat room, I'd usually find folks such as Ninjashark, PSI Wind, Serperior and Cola on there, who were all pretty happening dudes.

Whoa, that's unexpected! Okay, bonus round time!

Favorite Classic Soundtrack: Sonic 3 & Knuckles. There's LOTS of memorable tracks between the two games, but when you put them both together, you've got a large chunk of classic Sonic's greatest music. Whether Mushroom Hill, Angel Island, Flying Battery, Sky Sanctuary, or Ice Cap, you've got tons of great background music for personal enjoyment OR a project!

Favorite Modern Soundtrack: Sonic & the Black Knight. Just classic Jun Senoue guitar tunes with an Arthurian twist. From Knight of the Wind to Fight the Knight to With Me to Faraway Avalon to Misty Lake, and so, so, SO many more, I know I'll always have something I can just rock out to from my favorite Sonic game.

Fan Characters?: Nyooooooope, unless you count one that I just threw together for a TV.com RPG that I got bored of in three seconds. His name was Mekion (Name courtesy of a Sonic audio drama that I discovered quite a while back) and he was the roboticized equivalent of a Hedgehog named Zhane. That was about it. XD

WHO WOULD WIN THE EDGE?: They both lose because a Cluckoid watching in the audience blew onto the Biter, causing its flames to spread to the Warrior and burn it to death. The Biter then quickly dissolved into ashes that Orbot promptly swept up.

Closest Community Friends: I'm not really a super social kinda person, so I'd say probably anyone in my friend list, notably Komo, Joker, Soniko, Vizard, and yourself, Crusher, for being such friendly chaps on more than a few occasions. smile.png

And THAT ends my contributions to this thread! *Takes a bow*

Thanks for doing this event, Crusher. It was cooool.

Bonus Question #1: What's your top favourite soundtrack from a CLASSIC game?

Sonic 3 and Knuckles has the best overall OST, with my favorite tracks being from Sandopolis, Flying Battery, Hydrocity and Angel Island. It really made the most of the Genesis sound chip. I love how classic Sonic music uses long drawn out notes that almost seem at odds with the fast gameplay, but it's always fitting and always one of the highlights.

Bonus Question #2: What's your top favourite soundtrack from a MODERN game?

Sonic Generations has the best tracks, with great mixes of Green Hill, City Escape, the Egg Dragoon fight, Stardust Speedway and even Crisis City. Crisis City Classic is great, probably because it's a completely different song from the original. I don't think it has any really memorable original scoring but the remixes are often better than the originals.

Bonus Question #3: Have you ever created your own fancharacter, and if so, what are they all about?

No. I've always sorta had disdain for fan characters, because most of the ones I saw were very, very uncreative.

Bonus Question #4: If a Black Warrior and an Iblis Biter engaged in a standoff in the style of Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West, who would be the last one standing?

A Black Warrior would probably have a weapon, when the Iblis Biter is really slow and couldn't do anything from a range. I imagine if he let it get close, though, he'd have his throat torn out.

Bonus Question #5: Who would you say are your best/closest/etc friends on the Sonic Stadium?

I don't really have anyone here I'd call a friend. I'm kind of a distant and don't really interact with other users much, on or off the forums. I'm on pretty good terms with most other people, though.

Important Announcement: I have decided that any Day 30 answers that were posted after my Bonus Day post still count, since I didn't give out any warnings about when this round would ensue due to it, well, being a secret. So for those of you who successfully got through the other twenty-nine days but were a little late with Question #30, don't worry. You will still get your badge for the full thirty days. smile.png

I don't like being a pest, but I should remind you that you have to answer all five of the questions that I listed in order to have a chance at getting the secret badge. ^^;;

More questions?! Let's do this.

Bonus Question #1: What's your top favourite soundtrack from a CLASSIC game?

Sonic 3 & Knuckles is my favourite soundtrack from the Classic era. There's nothing I don't like about it, honestly. I'm also just as fond of CD's soundtracks--both of them.

Bonus Question #2: What's your top favourite soundtrack from a MODERN game?

Hmmmmm...Sonic Colours, personally. I absolutely love the music in Unleashed and Lost World (and picking Generations would be cheating probably) but Colours' soundtrack won my heart. Every level theme, every boss theme, those incredible hub themes, and of course the Simulator remixes...I just love it all around. And the vocal themes are guilty pleasures, so there's that. tongue.png

Bonus Question #3: Have you ever created your own fancharacter, and if so, what are they all about?

I did when I was a kid, they were basically just a Sonic recolour. I can't remember anything else about them except that maybe they were from another universe????????????

Bonus Question #4: If a Black Warrior and an Iblis Biter engaged in a standoff in the style of Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West, who would be the last one standing?

The Black Arms Warrior, obviously. Health bars, plus the Black Arms' weapons are (probably) faster and more reliable than the...fire-spike balls the Iblis creatures spit out.

Bonus Question #5: Who would you say are your best/closest/etc friends on the Sonic Stadium?

NG and Speederino technically speaking, since we have a Skype chat all on our own, so I talk to them pretty much every day...if I get on Skype...and my internet co-operates. But there's also everyone in that tiny horse cartoon topic AND everyone I interact with in the statuses. You're all great, and I swear, sometimes the comments on my sillier statuses are more hilarious than I could even hope to be!! And I say that out of admiration.

So yeah, there we go. I'm mostly sure I answered every one of the days (and all the answers I submitted were acceptable, I hope!), but even if I didn't...well, I'm still more than happy with this whole event. It was a great idea, and gave me an excuse to talk about that blue hedgehog that goes fast. So thank you, Dr. Crusher and Kiah!

So for those who care, I colored in my fancharacter that my friend drew a while back

Here he is in all his edgy technicolor goodness:

[ Bonus Stage ! ]

01.  Favorite soundtrack from a classic Sonic game

Sonic 3 & Knuckles has the best overall soundtrack, in my opinion.  Flying Battery, Lava Reef, Ice Cap, Death Egg, the final boss theme.  They're all wonderful tracks in my opinion.  They have a great 80's pop/rock sound to them, which really defined the sets of games.  Honorable mention still goes to Sonic 1, though.  Dat Star Light Zone.

02.  Favorite soundtrack from a modern Sonic game

I'm thinking... oh god I don't know.  Probably Sonic Colors.  I'm not quite sure what qualifies as "modern."  SA1 would probably be my answer, but in case 15 years ago is too long ago, Colors.  Asteroid Coaster, Planet Wisp, Starlight Carnival, etc. are all wonderful tracks.  They have an intense "speedy" feel but are also really calming and freeing in a way.  In particular, the drums really make the tracks for me.  They really establish the right feeling for me.  It's like the adrenaline of running really fast while also taking in the wonders of the environment around you.  I like.

03.  Have you ever made a Sonic fan character?

Yes, and it was 100% original.  In fact, I pitched it to Sega and they were contemplating using him in a game, but they just couldn't pay me high enough, so they had to begrudgingly back out on the deal, thus leading them to the financial crisis they're in today.  It was a character who had a tragic backstory and wanted revenge, which is a character that we've never seen before.  He liked to swear and he used guns KNIVES.  See?  KNIVES?  ORIGINAL!  Now I bet you'll think he was some unoriginal color that was red.  Well, he wasn't.  Because my brother claimed red for his equally original character, Cinos.  Instead he is orange.  Because I like orange flavored things.

I was a teenager going through an emo phase and I sucked at shit, okay?  Cut me some slack.

04.  If a Black Warrior and an Iblis Biter engaged in a standoff in the style of Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West, who would be the last one standing?

Both of them.  Before too long, they'd reconcile their differences and live the rest of their days as friends and allies, thus paving the way for peaceful relations between aliens and demonic hellspawns everywhere.  Well, until the day that the Black Warrior comes home to find the Iblis Biter on his couch, informing him that he was laid off his job and needs a place to stay.  I mean, at first he'll be cool with it, but when it becomes obvious that he's just a moocher, then things will go sour pretty fast.  Then, out of blind fury and rage... they'll both die of natural causes in their sleep at approximately the same time, thus completing the natural circle of life.

I hope that answers your question.

05.  Closest SSMB Friendsies

Let's see here.  I'm very good at remembering names:  Mr. Crush Soda, Ailment of Chaotics, Speed of Rhino, all the staffzes, but I'll name Paily specifically because I can talk about makeup and opera with her. (Step up your game, other staff!  Oh, I but I kid.  I love you all X3) Also, Keeya.  If there's any one I forgot, I sincerely apologize.

Bonus Question #1: What's your top favourite soundtrack from a CLASSIC game? Sonic CD. I like alot of the musics in the game mostly from the bad futures of the presents. I really do like Collison Chaos the past and present and I like Wackyworkbench the bad future to name some.

Bonus Question #2: What's your top favourite soundtrack from a MODERN game? Sonic Generations, they have the best remix to the songs i ever ear. My favorites are Radical Highway, For True Story, Super Sonic Racing, Gren Hill Zone to name alot f them. but yeah this one is really fun sountrack.

Bonus Question #3: Have you ever created your own fancharacter, and if so, what are they all about? (Note: Please don't feel ashamed if you have made one/a few, because I believe that there are good Sonic fancharacters out there, overshadowed by the majority as they may be.)

I do:

Name: Soohyun Ryu (류수현)

Nickname: none

Age: 15

Gender: girl

Species: half human, half hedgehog

Height: 127cm

top speed: 240km/h not very fast because... half human

special skills: she can use her wisps friends to attack, shes also flexible and somewhat acrobatic

hobbies: cook, clean, help Sonic fight, support Sonic, garden, take care of wisps, hang with friends

weakness: short temper, sometimes forgetful, inexperiense being a hero, lazy

Shes a girl who pefer to be at home to take care of her wisps but meeting Sonic inspire her to want to be a hero to her universe. She take pride to her culture and the world~save the day but also be a houswife to the lover of her life. She also love to hang with friends to and gets inspire off them to be more critical. like before shes Sonics girlfriend. Yes i pair her with Sonic. Shes also Korean (well most of my character i make are Korean. the fancharacter universes has to many Japanese and not enough Koreans. also i like Korea way more then my own conuntry).

Bonus Question #4: If a Black Warrior and an Iblis Biter engaged in a standoff in the style of Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West, who would be the last one standing? Im sorry. I dont understand the meaning to the question.

Bonus Question #5: Who would you say are your best/closest/etc friends on the Sonic Stadium? i dont have alot of close friends because i dont hang out with alot. so i have to say i dont really have a buddy buddy type friend. everyones my friend.

I was a teenager going through an emo phase and I sucked at shit, okay?  Cut me some slack.

No.

I will ensure that this haunts you for the rest of your life.

Your freedom and happiness will be crushed.

Then, out of blind fury and rage... they'll both die of natural causes in their sleep at approximately the same time, thus completing the natural circle of life.

Hey, thanks a lot man. Now I know how to strike them both.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to use this information in order to start my new creation, the Jeremy Crush Show.

Welcome to the Special Stage!

Clear five bonus questions to get a Chaos Emerald!

determined-challenge-accepted-l.png?w=30

Bonus #1: My Favorite Classic Soundtrack

Of course, I'm sticking with good ol' 2. I feel that Sonic 2 has an incredible variety of memorable tunes, each one perfectly fitting their respective Zone! From the upbeat Emerald Hill to the high-energy Special Stage, to the dramatic final boss theme, I can recognize just about any track from this game in an instant!

Bonus #2: My Favorite Modern Soundtrack

Ooohh, this is a bit tougher. Y'know what? Heroes. Yeah, I said it. You can have your Escape From the City and Windy Valley; I'll be jammin' to Egg Fleet and Bingo Highway!

Bonus #3: Have I Ever Made an Original Fan Character?

Nope. ...Although I did make up a crazy backstory for my SSMB alias one bored afternoon. Does that count?

Bonus #4: Black Warrior vs Iblis Biter. Who Wins?

Never heard of that movie. Anyway, Black Warrior wins. But it's a short-lived victory, because the door next to him won't open unless Shadow kills him. And he's got to get that darn fourth you-know-what!

Bonus #5: Who Are My Best Friends Here at SSMB?

I still haven't gotten to know any of you very well, but that will soon change. So, for now... Everyone!

Dadada-da-da-dahhh!

Forte Metallix

Got a Chaos Emerald!

Sounds like some kind of terrible disease.

A hilarious, handsome, smart, and charming disease that is thankful for being mentioned, mind you. <3

BONUS SODA

Bonus Question #1: What's your top favourite soundtrack from a CLASSIC game?

Gotta go with Sonic CD, man. More specifically...the Sonic CD 20th Anniversary Soundtrack. I much adore the JPN/PAL OST over the American one, so FINALLY having a definite soundtrack that represents it fills me with glee. Plus it has bonus (ZING) tracks on there, like Sonic Boom (w/ a Crush 40 remix to boot) and that Stardust Speedway U.S. Present remix by Cash Cash~

Bonus Question #2: What's your top favourite soundtrack from a MODERN game?

Oh man...this one is tough...I-I don't know if I can-

PFFT OH WHO AM I KIDDING?!?! biggrin.png

The Complete Trinity: Sonic Heroes Original Soundtrack is, hands down, my favorite soundtrack from the Modern games. I already gushed about how much I love Sonic Heroes to death by now lol.

Bonus Question #3: Have you ever created your own fancharacter, and if so, what are they all about? (Note:Please don't feel ashamed if you have made one/a few, because I believe that there are good Sonic fancharacters out there, overshadowed by the majority as they may be.)

Yes I have actually; his name is Ryder. He's a slate and black-tipped traveling hedgehog who had a deep interest in ruins and natural environments. Due to this he is never in one place for too long, and isn't one to engage in chitchat unless it relates to his passion. He has a sister, named Syra, who also accompanies him, although she has a much outgoing, adventurous outlook on traveling.

Bonus Question #4: If a Black Warrior and an Iblis Biter engaged in a standoff in the style of Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West, who would be the last one standing?

The Black Warrior; it doesn't take just one Homing Attack to destroy him. And besides, how would an Ilbis Biter hold a weapon for a standoff?

Bonus Question #5: Who would you say are your best/closest/etc friends on the Sonic Stadium?

Let's see...my list of friends aren't as high as many others (since I kinda...I don't know...still don't feel I'm as close to people here than what others believe). But this isn't about my negatives:

For one, I'll start with the fellow who went out of his way to bring this little idea back. He's apparently a Doctor by trade, but I hear he makes a mean double chocolate milkshake. He's someone who has gotten much deserve praise for sticking through this endeavor to bring a more lighter atmosphere to the place. He also is someone who can talk to when you're feeling down or have a issue that you want to discuss with. He may not think too highly of himself, but I know he accepts the goodwill all the same and keeps him spurring on.

I'm talking about none other than Dr. Crusher of course.  What, who do you think I was talking about?

Secondly; I would say Komodin. Well, we don't communicate much, so I'm not sure if he considers me a friend likewise... :s

Oh; DocAzure and SirCroft are two guys I'm friendly with, and that's taking into account outside the SSMB and into other parts of the internets as well.

Recently Espurr has been a nice person to talk to. She has some pretty nice art and is clearly a Pokemon fan, which is awesome.

...

See, there's more, but I don't know if it's a two-way street. I'm not really 'outgoing' unlike some people (still a curse of mine it seems), and as a result I still kinda feel like lurker/outsider.
