I love the Wii U version(Mostly for some of its zones), but I love the 3DS version way more, I just cant describe it, i'll probably be able to when the game comes out though, or when gameplay leaks like crazy when Europe gets it. Anyway I feel like in the 3DS version for 3D zones your actually doing something, taking control of the game, while in the Wii U version you have control but in most cases in the 3D zones its automated like crazy, like your not even doing anything for a good minute of the game.

People are starting to say that Frozen Factory Zone 1 feels alot like Windy Hill Zone 1 & I think thats pretty true, I mean they pretty much replaced the water with oil, replaced windmills with turbines, changed up the paths a bit, kept the laser wisp, kept the clouds & threw some more Frozen Factory type gimmicks in the making, Idk im just not feeling the magic.. Desert Ruins Zone 1 on the other hand had me going crazy, shit is fucking amazing, If you havent already seen it you gotta watch it =O

The 2D Frozen Factory Casino you're referring to is actually part of Sky Road.

Really =O, dead serious? I didnt even notice that much, (Now that I think about it, its true cause its high in the clouds with air vents & all that good stuff..

In that case, hoping Frozen Factory Zone 2 for the 3DS version takes us inside the factory like the Wii U version =P, btw how did you know it was Sky Road, I didnt notice that when looking at the trailers the 1st time, unless theres some screenshots or something

... Are all these comparisons between the 3DS and WIi U versions really necessary? I mean, can we all just be glad that we're actually getting a good handheld/"SD" version of a main console title for once?

No one ever said they werent glad that we have a sexy ass handheld Sonic game, I'm actually overjoyed in the matter, I feel like no other future 3D handheld main Sonic game will ever top this. (Cough inb4 Sonic Colors 2 breaks out on us over wisps being in Sonic Lost World which I actually wouldnt mind.) AAAANYWAY, we arent really comparing the whole game, just the speed boosters in the Casino

The 3DS version is based off of the Wii U version. Comparisons are inevitable.

Though, I am pretty happy with what it has.

It's not exactly based off the Wii U version because they have different level design BUTTTTT, whatevs cool.png

Parkour, run button, spin dash, double jump, bounce, cylindrical stages, same levels. Of course it's based on the console version. It just has different level design.

Man I just want more gameplay from the 3DS version to be revealed, they let the Wii U version reveal Desert Ruins Zone 1, Frozen Factory Zone 1 & Tropical Coast Zone 4 but the 3DS version cant at least have Windy Hill Zone 2 revealed, WTF. Anyway with the showing of Desert Ruins Zone 1, we now know that level themes can switch up at any time in the level, making my theory about being launched off into the Honeycomb, Candy Stage & no duh the Casino obviously, really high.

I wanna know about the Silent Forest Ruins with the light switch puzzle type thing, hope it makes it in there, along with the Mech Tropical Coast which is still highly likely due to the fact that there are those Red Steel Construction Beams in Zone 2 & in Zone 3 theres that Underwater drilling like in the Wii U

Oh the light switch w/the owls in silent forest

Some new screenshots I found while wondering the net =D,

Tropical Coast Zone 2 seems to feature a tubular zone outside of Windy Hill Zone 2, pretty fucking awesome =D

In this next screenshot we have Frozen Factory, most likely Zone 1 or 3, loving the platforming look it gives off, Sega did say the 3DS version had a balance of moving fast along with lots of platforming & some puzzle content:

Lastly I have a screenshot of Sky Road Zone 1 which is looking pretty swell, looks like the 3DS version can get some mach speed in here too:

Now that the complete Desert Ruins and Frozen Factory  footage of Lost World Wii U, I can say that the Wii U version focuses way more on open worlds and multiple paths, while the 3DS version on difficulty and platforming. Seriously, Desert Ruins Wii U is, so far, the most expansive stage on the whole game! However, the 3DS version, though it's way less open, looks half a lot more challenging. Frozen Factory was basically Mecha Windy Hill zone on Winter with Chemical Plant tubes, so we can say it has many alternate paths but, again, the 3DS version looks more challenging.

I still think that the 3DS version has a great balance of exploration & openess, cant wait to see how great these worlds will look when the 3DS version comes out in 18 days =D, 8 for Europe.

Guys, I found another guy who got the review copy of LW 3DS and he said the game deserved a -3 out of 5, because of the controls, and the use of the gyroscope of the special stages.

First, he said the controls were very slippery, which I think it's pretty exaggerated. I'm not saying he can't think whatever he wants, but all the impressions i've read so far affirm that Sonic feels really natural and easy to control...and I understood he whined about the difficulty, as well (really...).

He also complained about the special stages, which were really hard to controll because of the Gyroscope. Yeah, the gyroscope thingy doesn't sound really comfortable but I still think the special stages can't be that hard because of the controls.

Yeah, this looks inferior to the Wii U version, but I think it deserves more than a -3/5.

So has it already be confirmed by the leaks, how many levels will there be on the 3DS?

2 or 3 acts + Boss for each of the seven zones?

6 Worlds with 3 Zones each and the boss's own Zone, Lava Mountain's Zones aren't on the 3DS I'm afraid instead it's a boss rush of all the bosses you've encountered plus eggman himself in Lava Mountain Zone which is a downer.

7 hours to complete story mode? That's longer than DS' story mode, which I beleive was, like, 2-3 hours long.
