Wasn't there more to this? It seems like they cut out the funnier bits... I remember there was an upload of this clip in pretty low quality that had Spidey pretending to "draw" like he was in the wild west or something, and one bit where he throws a glob of webbing at the guy like he was pitching a baseball.

EDIT: actually, I just noticed an awkward cut at about 1:33 or so. Seems like those gags were cut for this preview or something. Also, is it just me, or is Spider-Man a little hard to understand at times? It's not awful by any means, but it's slightly noticeable... I'd call it a nitpick if anything. I noticed it a little with this clip, but mostly in the clip of the police chase.

Eh, I think that would've made it drag a bit, to be honest. I like this version better.

Also, Spider-Man's cockiness again reminds me of his Ultimate (comic, not the shitty cartoon) characterization, and I totally love that.

Hate to be Devon downer over here but this is just with 10 review's in so far. You shouldn't say Naysayers be dammned when this could could easily lower into the rotten realm of the tomatoe meter when the rest of the reviews come flooding in.

Honestly, IGN's review is pretty damn fair. Everything he says about the movie sounds like it validates all of my complaints and worries based on trailers and information alone. The film just doesn't look up to snuff with what it should have been.

So yeah, I'm not really excited anymore.

Same-ish for me. I don't tend to see eye-to-eye with movie critics, even when I can see where they're coming from.

I'm still seeing it on opening day (no midnight showings where I'm at) regardless of what critics say. I still think I'm going to enjoy it just because it seems like it was made with Spider-Man fans in mind, unlike the Raimi films.

This looked like a 7/10 movie, so I'm not surprised by the RT score. Doesn't look to outdo the first two Spider-Man movies, but it does look like a better movie than S-M3 (even though I liked Sandman and Harry's resolution).

From all the clips, I get this very "loose" vibe with the dialogue. Like they tried to infuse a bit too much "realistic" dialogue but it just comes off as sounding slopping. I dunno, I'll rent this for sure, but probably will skip it in theaters. Brave and Dark Knight Rises come before this for me. Also, the lower budget shows in the effects. They look good, but not great.

Well, even if this does get more negative reviews after it hits theaters, it doesn't sound like the movie is going to be the trainwreck I first envisioned way back when the project was first announced. So there's that at least.
