My guesses of what may have happened to Apollo:

  • hit violently with fire extinguisher
  • fallen from a burning bridge into a rocky river
  • hit by car
  • whipped by angry prosecutor

Or maybe he was actually the defense attorney in that trial which ended with a bomb blowing up the courtroom.

All perfectly reasonable things that happen to defense attorneys all the time.

Yeah....Apollo lacks Phoenix's durability.

To be honest it's a miracle that Nick came away without casts and bandages after his normally-fatal kind of fall in Case 3-5.

He got hit by a car, flew into the air, and slammed into a light pole.

 

... and got out with a broken leg. Phoenix is indestructible.

Wow, Apollo looks awesome now! It's funny how some bandages and wearing a jacket as a cape can make such a difference.

With all the awesomeness that's being put into every returning character's touch-ups, I'm actually scared at the possibility of Edgeworth being in this game.

 

I don't think the world is ready for such feats of pure manliness and awesome and... I-I'm going to faint just thinking about it...
