Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD

So wtf does this game have in good? Don't come at me with graphics. Let's see: 1/10 of the soundtrack (this version has levels from the 3 first THPS, right?), less characters, no create-a-mode, no 2-players offline, different physics... It would be a lot better if they just release the 4 THPS on PSN as PSOne classics. Being 4:3 or not, I would buy it with pleasure, because everything I want would be there!!!

More like half the soundtrack, but yeah, pretty much from what I've heard. However the different physics I heard aren't "bad" it's just different. I'm curious to try the demo at least when it hits the PSN *shrugs.* I'm kinda in the same boat that I'd love if they just re-released all the old games, but I'm pretty sure it's licensing issues with the songs.

Hey, I loved Pro Skater as much as the next guy and yes, you will notice the physics difference right away, heck I didn't like it at first, after a couple of hours with the game, it felt like pro skater, I forgot about the physics, though it lacks the create-a-skater, you can use your xbox avatar on the game, which is not much different, since you can customize that (My avatar currently wearing Power Ranger costume) Hopefully, for PS3 owners, the game will allow you to use your Playstation Home avatar; though, lack of local is the biggest kick in the crotch here! For the soundtrack, a good chunk of the songs I like (e.g. Worlds Collide - Powerman 5000, Bring the noise - Anthrax ft. Public Enemy, Flyentology - EL P ft. Trent Reznor) I don't know if the PS3 has a similar feature but if you don't like the music on xbox, just plug in an MP3 to your xbox and tune in to your own music.

Personally I would rather have all 4 as separate downloads on XBLA/PSN/Steam.

I honestly like the new batch of songs, especially the Pigeon John, El-P, and Middle Class Rut songs. and yeah, you can put songs on your PS3 hard drive and make a custom soundtrack that way.

I'm also in the "re-release" boat, but acquiring those licenses for the songs and characters again would probably take way too much time and money. I guess the next best thing would be to try and find Pro Skater 2x (if you have a 360), 3 and 4 online. Luckily, I still have every Tony Hawk game from Pro Skater 3 and up (except for Downhill Jam, Project 8, Ride and Shred), so I'm good.

More info on the "Revert Pack", which is due out sometime in September.

New additions: Canada is now a confirmed level

Tony Hawk series veterans Geoff Rowley and Steve Caballero are confirmed.

So right now, five bucks gets us three new levels, two new skaters, and one gaming mechanic. Hmm, not too bad I guess.

There better be a "Start an Earthquake" mission in LA or I'm gonna be sad.
