Meet Sonic and Get A Signing From Takashi Iizuka at the Sonic Speed Cafe

The recently-launched Sonic Speed Cafe pop-up restaurant will be a hot destination to visit at San Diego Comic Con 2023, and for more than just its food. The hot-dog stand will blow the roof off at a special Grand Opening on July 19th (that's tomorrow), and there will be guest appearances throughout the week including IDW Writer Evan Stanley and Sonic Franchise head Takashi Iizuka.

The full schedule of events was posted on the Sonic Speed Cafe social media channel earlier today, and it seems like whenever you visit there will be something cool going on. During the Grand Opening there will be a Sonic ribbon-cutting ceremony, along with opportunities for fans to win a Sonic Toy Factory plush.

On July 20 and 21, Takashi Iizuka will be available for signings between 3-4pm PT, with Evan Stanley starring in a meet and greet on July 22 between 2-3pm. Photo opportunities with Sonic himself will take place daily between noon and 2pm.
