Japanese Billy Hatcher TV Commercials Feature Hatching Giant Eggs

Creatures from the chicken world invade the human world.

Billy Hatcher is coming out within a month's time in Japan, so promotion for the game in the country is starting to ramp up. SEGA Japan has just updated its official web page for the game with new TV commercials that show off the whole 'Giant Egg'-ness of it all.

The first commercial shows a giant egg sitting all alone on a farm, with chickens surrounding it. When it hatches, a whole bunch of creatures from Billy Hatcher's world pop out and the game is introduced. There's a cool little reference to the special Sonic the Hedgehog character you can unlock at the very end of the commercial as well.

The second commercial follows the same sort of concept, but involves a giant egg sitting in a mountain lake. Two boys who are out fishing notice it and get totally freaked out by its existence. As they probably should.

Many thanks to Benji for tipping us off to these videos, which you can find on SEGA's website here.
