Version 1.0.1.5 Awaits You In A New Sonic Superstars Update

Sonic Superstars may be a few months old, but it's still getting updates every now and then. The focus has been making sure the game is neat and polished, but of course, there's nothing wrong with that at all. Now that the holidays are over and everyone's back to work, SEGA has released a brand new update for the game that can be downloaded on all platforms!

The version number is 1.0.1.5. on Steam, so you'll know the game is up to date if it displays that. However, on consoles, it might say something like 1.15 instead. Despite the slight difference in version number, the patch notes and changes done to the game are the same. So, as long as you keep that in mind and let the game update, you should be fine.

Speaking of the update's official patch notes, you're probably wondering what the update has actually changed. Well, there's not really much to go through, as SEGA doesn't really like to go into the specifics on what they had actually done to the game, especially in regards to bug fixes. In fact, all they say about the bug fixes is that, well, there were bug fixes.

The update wasn't just for bug fixes though! SEGA does mention that players are now able to reset the scores they have accumulated in the Time Attack mode. You'll want to keep in mind, however, that this is only for your local scores stored on your local save data. Your scores that are shown on "Top Rank" will not be reset by this. So, it's not a complete reset, just a local one. Still, it is an option for you if you want it.

That's pretty much everything! It's highly likely that more updates will be coming in the near future as SEGA continues to polish the game and make adjustments based on fan feedback. There's also a very high probability that there will be more DLC outfits coming soon. Of course, whenever SEGA does either of those things, we'll be sure to let you know!
