  • Red and Chuck Slingshot Their Way into Sonic Forces Mobile With Angry Birds Event

They're in Sonic Forces, and they're angry about it.

A few weeks after dataminers found them in the game's files, Red and Chuck from Angry Birds are now officially in Sonic Forces, with Red acting as a challenger character. The event is set to run through March 24.

Both characters have the slingshot boost, which slings them forward with Angry Bird's trademark slingshot, and Tricky Towers, with builds an Angry Birds-style construction of stone, wood, ice and TNT in the track. Each character also has one unique attack move: Red has "Shockwave," while Chuck has "Lightning Bolt."

Chuck will require 300 cards to be unlocked, while Red requires 500. Cards from both characters can be earned by completing missions throughout the event, but it's also possible to get Red cards by placing in the top two of a race where Red is present as a challenger character. This will get you a challenger chest, which contains at least 10 Red cards.

Check out their full stats and details below:

I really don't like having Angry Birds in one of my favourite SONIC game, I really think they should have added Pirate Sonic and Captain Shadow to the roster instead of them but since I haven't spent one ring to upgrade them contrary to all SONIC characters, I've managed to upgrade a 11th Special Character to Level 16 (Max Level) and it is my beloved Dread!!..

So, thank you Red and Chuck for being so ugly!!...

And I think my next Special Character to reach Level 16 will be either Mummy Knuckles, Jester Sonic or DJ Vector...

Well, there is a small storyline for the event saying that the green pigs from ANGRY BIRDS managed to open a portal to Sonic's world and that Red and Chuck came to help Sonic to fight them (and I think Eggman is in the little plot too)...
