Sonic Team Games Update to Official Billy Hatcher Website Confirms Japanese Release Date

Sonic Team has updated its official Japanese Billy Hatcher website, with loads of info on the story, gameplay features, characters and more. The site has also recently added a note confirming a Japanese release date of October 9, 2003.

The English version of the site has yet to be updated, but you can use something like the AltaVista Translator to help understand what's going on in with Japanese side. There are new pages covering 'Egg Action', 'Egg Animal', Characters and 'Four Player Battle', where there are details on the game's multiplayer mode.

Hopefully the English page will update soon with Western release info - in the meantime, expect Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg to land on Nintendo Gamecube this October, selling for ¥6,980.
