What If: Shadow was awoken from his slumber... in place of Avatar Aang?

A really silly thought that I had: both Shadow and Avatar Aang (Last Airbender) were awoken from a very long slumber.

So what if they switched places and awake each other's worlds?

For Aang, I think he would embrace his worst tendencies. Without a world ruined by his absence, he would not feel a duty to become the avatar again. He would simply embrace being free kid and having fun, with no responsibilities (with lingering guilt in the back of his head).

More interesting is Shadow's situation. Would he still try to destroy humanity, even though it's the wrong planet? Would he even notice? (He had never been to Earth before). And if so, how would he try to do it without Eclipse Canon and Chaos Emeralds?
If not, what's next? Befriending Katara? Staying on the cold and slippery South Pole, where his rocket shoes melt ground beneath him? Or would he beat up Zuko and force him to take his somewhere else (most awkward cruise ever, with Iroh trying to make a piece between two angsty teens)? Would he fight Fire Nation? Or travel the world angry and confused, until legends grow around the angry spirit of dark spines?

IDK, thoughts?
