Thanks to everyone's favorite source of Sonic merch information... Target's internal systems, we now know for sure what will be the next four figures for Sonic Prime Wave 4!

To tie into this latest batch of Sonic Prime, we see the arrival of Alpha Grim Sonic to represent The Grim. Sonic with the water-running shoes and Batten Rouge representing No Place. And everyone's favorite Brooklyn Vincent Tong accent with an Echidna attached to it, Renegade Knux being the sole New Yoke character for this wave.

A noteworthy aspect about this wave is that Alpha Grim Sonic will be Prime's first use of a recolored figure, being a palette swap for Chaos Sonic only one wave further. Everything else since is either a new mold, or at the very least a retool of an existing figure with significant molding changes like with Sonic.

Are Jakks resorting to more recolors already? Will Prismatic Sonic be in the cards after all, before we even got anyone from the mainline universe in the Prime line? Will we ever get the Prime Amy and her revised dress?

With the recent leak of mainline 5 inch figures, only time will tell. Seems like Jakks is already preparing to leave Prime behind but still continue with 5 inch figures.

What do you all think?

Speaking from personal experience, the Prime figure line is rather solid. If you feel Jakks' 4 inch line is lacking in articulation, this does the job. Just be careful with posing the limbs and don't overexert them. But the Prime line has some of the best Sonic action figures in years, like Rusty Rose and ESPECIALLY Nine.

Tbh im just getting the 4 inch game figures and 2 inch badnicks at this point. I've pretty much got them all bar a chopper, buzz bomber and Jet the hawk....which i have not seen on sale in the uk yet....unless i missed it??

Way too big, they should have been 4" instead of 5", we can't use them with the rest of the collection, that's so sad for the Sonic multiverse...

Yes! A Rouge figure! My favorite of the three alts too.

Alpha Grim Sonic is unexpected; I definitely prefer it to another Chaos Council member, but the lack of Knuckles the Dread this far in is unfortunate.

I still have yet to find a Chaos Sonic figure :( but one day. Anyways, I'm super excited for the Rebel Knux one. Rebel Knux has gotta be one of my favorite Prime characters. Him and Rebel are kind of the only ones with any common sense in that show, everyone else is just like "ooh, sonic betrayed us, grrrgg" or "i'm going to needlessly fight everyone for the shiny rock". Not complaining though, if everyone was good the show would be boring.

Also, Alpha Grim Sonic is probably the coolest name I've heard from Prime.
