Now that the chaos emeralds have individual powers, what if the super emeralds from sonic 3 and knuckles have powers too?

In sonic superstars the chaos emeralds each have their own powers and I was thinking what if the super emeralds also have special powers? If they do what are some ideas for them?

The boring but logical answer is: Exactly the same powers, only stronger.

...I think that's probably a better answer for narrative than for gameplay, though.  But I'd be changing around the Emerald powers every game anyway rather than keeping them the same.
