Limited edition game specialist Pix'n Love has finally unveiled its 'Collector's Edition' release of Sonic Origins Plus, a certificated set that includes a new 96-page artbook, acrylic plate, exclusive packaging and a selection of lithographic character prints.

The publisher originally planned to announce this special edition back in June, but some unknown force prevented them from doing so and despite a number of teases, delayed its formal reveal. So it's done it this week instead. With all the goodies on display, it's probably worth the wait though, right?

Pix'n Love is also throwing in an additional bonus for those who pre-order; a free additional Mega Drive snapcase box so you can pretend you have a 16-bit cartridge of the compilation kicking around in your room.

Check out the promotional video below, via Pix'n Love's social media account.

This Collector's Edition is available for all major platforms - Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5 and Xbox - so you can pick the console that suits you best. The package will set you back €79.90 (around £70 GBP or $85 USD), so get ready to dig into your pocket money.

Pre-orders go live tomorrow (Wednesday 27 September) at 4pm UK time.

I hate to say not worth it, but... not worth it. Not only is it coming out waaaaay too late for any diehard fans who wanted the game (and most likely already have it), but the games and stuff included are not worth anywhere near almost $100.

100% agree with this. 100%ed all aspects of the game already, and  would rather put the money towards other things - e.g. Tails advent calandar, superstars dlc upgrades etc.

I have no doubt a few out there will snap it up. But for me...to TRIPLE dip after Origins, then plus. Nope.

Plus the content in that books looks A LOT like tje content in thier 20th anniversary book from 2010

It's nice, but I can't justify buying this game a fourth time (Digital, European physical, Japanese physical... I know, I have a problem)
