MediEvil Film/TV Adaptation Teased in new PlayStation Productions Video + Possible Writers

Ever since Sir Dan returned in the 2019 PS4 remake of the PS1 classic, MediEvil. Sony's been rather quiet about the seemingly dead (no pun intended) IP ever since. But now, PlayStation Productions (Sony Pictures' division dealing with adapting their games to film & TV) updated their website, with a new video showing a few glimpses at Sir Dan's return!

Not only that, but there's apparently some writers (one of which worked on Kung fu Panda: The dragon Knight) somewhat teasing their involvement with the project.

I've said this for awhile, but if Sony can't get new games made for these IP's. Then let them live on in a new format!

But in MediEvil's case, the PSP remake, MediEvil: Resurrection, did get released on PS Plus Premium earlier this month soo...🤔

I'm more hoping it's animated and not live-action. Sir Dan probably will need to be in CGI anyway, so might as well at this point.

I love MediEvil. I hope it’s a new adventure and not a retelling.

Same! But sadly, since MediEvil isn't as popular as Sony's other IP's. That's probably what's gonna happen. Least in a TV show format, I think it can be a bit more forgiving. 'Cause it's more MediEvil content!

I'd hope so! Heck, since the game already draws heavy inspiration from The Nightmare Before Christmas, I actually wouldn't mind seeing it try that style! But preferably the 3D style with 2D elements we've been seeing films do lately.
