Sonic Movie 3 Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Movie Set Photos Leaked

Leaks from the set of Paramount’s upcoming Sonic 3 movie were an inevitability. After all, Sonic 2’s production was rife with leaks back in 2021, which we covered. It’s how we learned about Knuckles’ inclusion, GUN, and even got early hints at the movie’s climax. Today’s leaks are not nearly this juicy, though if you are devoted to never seeing anything from this movie until it comes out next year, feel free to click away!

First off, let’s establish how we know this is Sonic 3, not the Knuckles production: we’ve got a photo saying it’s the Sonic 3 production!

These shots come from the Filming in Bourne Woods Farnham Facebook group, which appears to be devoted to people posting photos from filming happening in Bourne Woods, a filming location south of Farnham, Surrey in England. These shots were posted there back in early June. It looks like they aren’t just filming certain scenes in England: it appears they may have moved the entire production there. One shot shows a Green Hills police car, and another shows a back porch that wouldn’t look out of place in that “Montana” small town:

We also have shots of what is a ski lodge, according to the person who posted them in the group. According to the sign, it’s called “Iced.” 

Finally, we have a genuine shot of Sonic, Knuckles and Tails in the woods. My initial thought was “camping trip,” but given that Green Hills is surrounded by woodlands, it could be just about any scene taking place near the town. 

Notably, we see no actors on these sets, or even any filming equipment, so it’s possible that filming hadn’t begun as of the time these photos were taken. Instead, this appears to be set construction being done ahead of filming, though I’m not sure why they’d have the Sonic, Knuckles and Tails standees out unless they were doing some shooting. But then, I don’t know much about film production!

Filming is set to begin in London on August 31. If the currently ongoing Screen Actors Guild strike isn’t resolved by then, filming will be delayed. Hopefully, the studios will offer actors a fair deal before then.

I actually thought that these were photos for the Knuckles show. But, I forgot that the Knuckles Show had just wrapped up.  So, are they just setting up the props and waiting for the actors to eventually come in?

I Have a Theory That The movie is gonna be based of adventure 2 and the forest scene looks like its based off the level green forest
