After finally escaping from Dr. Eggman's Eggperial City, Sonic decides that the best course of action would be to put the entire city out of commission rather than allow Eggman to repair it for later use, which the hedgehog goes about by employing the help of Blaze the Cat, Amy Rose and Tails along with the series' best dynamic duo Tangle the Lemur and Whisper the Wolf. Together, Sonic is able to spin dash into and destroy the entire city in Sonic the Hedgehog #61 by writer Evan Stanley, artist Adam Bryce Thomas, colorists Rik Mack and Valentina Pinto, and letterer Shawn Lee.
