Nested quotes and links

I have two that might be intentional:

Nested quotes seem to be automatically removed. Like I said before, I <3 context, so this is frustrating.

As far as I can tell, links no longer default to new tabs.

Enabled setting to prevent quote pyramids. Is it really that much of an issue? I wanted to try it to see if it helps tidy up some of the major discussion topics around the forums.

For the second, I think it's a forum upgrade issue. Will be fixed soon, I'd think.

Why when I asked about the presence of quote pyramids on the board (before this upgrade) did I get told that they had been left in on purpose then?

It can get rather annoying sometimes, especially in faster threads or when your post starts a new page.
