Sonic: "Tails burned the machine to ashes, and life went on as normal."

"Well, as normal as it could be with you gone."

"Metarex is still attacking other Multiverses, BTYT's still alive..."

Madoka: "It wasn't the same without you, though!"

[Ellipsis-Ultima]

BFZ: There's a sandwich shop that's open!

And Doom.

And that's pretty much it.

Sayaka: "I guess it's back to your mayoral duties, right?"

"Oh, and maybe you should consider finding a way to get rid of the weeds in this town."

"Like a Town Ordiance."

"Those weeds are growing really fast and the Metal Sonics can't keep up!"

[Ellipsis-Ultima]

BFZ: Wait, there's weeds?!

I GOTTA GET TO THAT PEACH TREE FAST! BYE!

*BFZ runs off*

Lucario: Well that was quick...

(With @Pink Cat absent for his surgery, I'll take the charge and begin the new storyline.)

While Nightwing re-registers his position as mayor, the characters have to remove the weeds that are growing at a mysterious pace....

Sonic: "Taking care of these weeds shouldn't be too hard! Watch!"

*Sonic spins into a ball, cutting away at a small group of weeds*

"See? Now, let's move on!"

*the characters move to another area, unaware that the weeds Sonic cut down are growing back*

BFZ: OH NO! THE WEEDS HAVE ENGULFED MY PEACH TREE!

*BFZ uses a slight hinge of fire and destroys the weeds*

*BFZ plucks the fruit*

Better get to the others and find out what's happening...

*BFZ leaves, unaware that the weeds are growing back from the tree*

Sayaka: "Hah!"

*slashes at a couple of weeds*

"Not a problem!"

*Sayaka's hands accidentally release a bit of water*

"Whoops! Guess I'm still a little unstable from that event with RITE!"

Sonic: "Uhhh, Sayaka? You got some water on the ground."

Sayaka: "Relax! It's not like it's gonna grow at an instant!"

[Ellipsis-Ultima]

BFZ: They're everywhere... LITERALLY EVERYWHERE!

*BFZ gets a weed cutter and starts cutting the weeds*

[Failinhearts]

Sonic: "We're going to need some help taking out these weeds!"

"Where did they even come from, anyway?"

Sayaka: "I dunno. But...."

*several weeds hit by Sayaka's water has now grown to 3 times it's size*

"Those are big weeds."

[Ellipsis-Ultima]

BFZ: It's gotta be the water! It makes it worse!

*BFZ uses the weed cutters!*

[Spin Attaxx]

"Urgh," Jessca groaned. "How the hell did all these weeds grow so quickly?"

"Maybe you used Plant magic in your sleep?" Robinson cheekily suggested.

"Oi," Jessica spoke to her little pet. With that, she shaped a large pair of blades with her Metal magic and started chopping the weeds.

[Failinhearts]

Homura: "Perhaps Tails has the solution to our problem."

*Homura whacks away at the weeds with her shield*

Madoka: "If anyone has the solution, he will!"

*picks out each one casually*

*BFZ stops cutting and notices more weeds*

Wait, I thought I cut that bunch out?

*BFZ cuts the weeds*

Sonic: "I'm usually one for things being fast...."

*cuts a large weed*

"But for THIS, I'll make an exception!"

*continues whacking*

*BFZ cuts the weeds and then sees it*

"Holy smokes! Everytime we cut them, they grow back really fast!

It's an all out Weed invasion!!!"

Homura: "Won't anyone listen to me?"

*cuts down a weed*

"I said we need Tails!"

"It's the only time I'm relying on someone else..."

[Spin Attaxx]

"OK," Jessica grumbled. "I'm really tempted to just burn these things to ash and have done with them." After a short pause, she took a deep breath and followed up with "Buuuuuuuut..."

It was as if she knew exactly what Sayaka and the rest were going to say about her idea.

[Ellipsis-Ultima]

BFZ: LEt's not start up a forest fire... Where would Tails be? In his lab?

[Failinhearts]

Sayaka: "We don't want to risk having this town burn."

Sonic: "If you can do it safely without causing a Wildfire, go ahead."

"I mean, we're trying to kill these weeds anyway."

*slices away*

[Ellipsis-Ultima]

BFZ: Somebody open a portal, I'l get Tails!

*BFZ starts cutting*

[Failinhearts]

Sonic: "Just head over to my house and go to the top floor, I'm sure you'll find him."

*slices more weeds, only to have them grow back*

"I'm pretty sure he's busy fixing his lab right now, though...."

"Because you know, Scourge."

[Spin Attaxx]

"Wait a minute," Jessica realised, "I have Water magic. So even if a fire DOES break out, I can just put it out!" She created a small red orb in her hands and aimed at the weeds. "I'll still try to use my weaker Fire magic abilities though." She shot the small orb at a weed, which quicky burned up and crumbled into ash.

[Ellipsis-Ultima]

BFZ: Then I should try using my fire right?

Then that will make the process quicker?

*looks at all the weeds, growing larger every second*

"Fine, I'll trust you. Use the fire."

"But be careful!"

*sets Sentinel sword to fire mode*
