I think its also point of principle too, Microsoft shouldn't be doing these shit shady tactics paying out this much will teach them a lesson. Hell I wish she got $100,000 just out of sheer principle alone.

On windows & I'd just start typing and it would populate, frequently I need to select to "search my stuff" for whatever the search term is on 10.  I rebuilt my search index, and it seems to have helped a bit, but sometimes it just seems to have been caught napping.

I think it might be the shitty thing the start menu does where it not only searches your computer, but the web as well when you start typing, at least from the start menu.

Explorer takes its time, even on a new computer, but it's always done that across operating systems in my experience due to my apocalyptic organisational skills.

Yeah. The actual search bar on the taskbar can get a bit sidetracked in its searches unless you turn off searching the web. I never use it if I can help it since it still includes everything else as well. The Explorer search can be narrowed down by heading into specific folders. Searching through an entire drive takes ages though.

I'm quite happy with Windows 10 as of now, but I'm not liking the look of some of Microsoft's business practices, they've said some vague stuff and I can't help but sympathise with suspicions that Windows 11 will be subscription-based service.

Hearing that Microsoft's just kinda invited themselves to install Windows 10 on a load of people's computers doesn't help.
