Which character(s) do you feel that you're the most similar to?

 

Shadow:
For the most part...

I'm really reserved when it comes to expressing any sort of emotion.

I like to keep to myself a lot if I'm not really doing anything important.

I always have my focus 100% on whatever I'm working on, don't really like to waste time that could be used to finish what it is that I'm doing.

 

Blaze:

Shy and insecure when it comes to meeting new people.

Has some very low-self esteem issues that almost seems impossible to get over.

Can get easily angered when in my view it seems like people are being a real annoyance.

Likes to be distant a lot of the time.

 

Sonic:

Impatient, cannot stand waiting around for anything.  

Shows obvious signs of snark.

Likes to make jokes every now and again.

 

Knuckles:

Can be very stubborn at times, almost to the point of ignorance and doesn't like admitting I'm wrong.

Has low comprehension level at times.

Gets very nervous around Females...

 

Tails:

Very optomistic kid.

Is usually looked at as a very "Smart and Talented" kid...I don't really think so but whatever (^-^)

Still very naive.

I like to be helpful.

 

Big:

Likes to relax and be lazy.

Sees myself as "simple" and would really like to live that way.

Generally tries to remain out of any unnecessary trouble.

 

Charmy:

Very immature.

Seen as annoying to most others.

Very exciteable.

A year ago I would have said Tails, but these days I think I'm more like Blaze. Both of us are terrible in social environments, can often get really obstinate in certain situations, and have issues with self-esteem. Hell, we're both acrophobic to boot! I also feel like I have a lot in common with Knuckles, since we both have a tendency to get overzealous during arguments, have trouble following long-winded explanations of stuff, and are generally pretty nice when we aren't mad at someone.

It's difficult to say because I don't think I'm like any character except for one or two personality quirks. But I think the one character I share the most personality quirks with is definitely Knuckles.

 

Yes we are both gullible and short tempered, BUT I'm also determined and headstrong like Knuckles and I always try my best to be loyal to my friends. I'm also quiet (usually) and not one of those sociable types, but I try to mingle as best as I can.

 

I think that's it though. ^^; Again, it's difficult to pick a character you're most like because in most ways they aren't like you at all!

This was impossible for me, seriously. But after hours of deliberation, I guess I've came to some kind of conclusion.

 

Big I guess.

 

I've got a habit of being far too laid back for my own good, often to the point where it gets me in tricky situations, like missing important things, misplacing stuff. But I'd like to say I might have a hint of Blaze too, being rather reserved with my emotions. I'm not a loner like Blaze though, I like company...so in that case I guess I'm a mix of a few characters.

Sonic - I feel at times I'm very impatient a bit too cocky. Despite these traits, however, I do my best to help those in need, thus being like Sonic.

 

Knuckles - Although it may not seem like it, I can be pretty smart at times, and people (for some reason) get surprised by my intellect. However I am easily persuaded and tricked by some easily shady people. So in that sense, I am like Knuckles.

Day 29:

I'm a lot like Tails. I've always been pretty heads-up, and positive. I'm always looking to learn and use my knowledge if it helps the situation... I like to crack a joke at someone's expense every now and then, as Tails often does. There's a hint of me being a knowledgable guy amongst friends, and often talk about things they don't quite grasp... But you know..

I've also got a hint of Knuckles, in that I often choose to have alone time, just me and the things I care about. (I'm also a super strong guy and can glide and climb wall but let's keep that out of it.)

Tails.

Not exactly a mechanic or a genius, but rather factually minded and seem to have trouble making friends as a result, I can enjoy someone's company in a school or college for years and become quite close while it being obvious it wont work in the long run,because ultimately I'd rather talk about dinosaurs than anything interesting.

 

I am not much of a specialist due to the closest science colleges treating me with blatant disregard, but I can be caught babbling about unusual subjects of conversation. I have a basic knowledge of biology, religious studies and paleontology which seems to be more than most people can claim, it's probably something to do with non-weird people having basic knowledge of things like cooking and cleaning instead.

Now that I think about it, I suppose my (thankfully successful) attempts to do well with tests during high school was another aspect that made me similar to Tails.

 

Also, I didn't mention him in my original post, but I'm starting to think that I might relate to Master Zik as well, because when other folk are angry about something, I usually try to think calmly and rationally. (Don't let my recurring posts in the Things That Piss You Off fool you.)

Ah, the Sonic universe! Filled to the brim with colorful characters! To which character could I be the most similar? Sonic? Tails? Eggman?...Espio?...Jet?

 

I'd like to think of myself as a mix between Prof. Pickle from Sonic Unleashed, an eccentric guy with a knack for academic work and Archieverse Bean. I guess I could throw some Big in there; I'd like a lazy lifestyle just with my dear pet...So, in short:

But I guess that on my worst days, I'm JUST like Archieverse Bean; obnoxious, petulant, blabbering about nonsense. But, thank God, I'm not always like that.

Day 29: What Character Am I Most Like?

 

I honestly see a little of Sonic and Tails in me.

 

Like Sonic, sometimes I get a little too reckless in whatever I'm doing. (Which better not happen tomorrow! I've got finals!) But in the end, I do my best to do the right thing.

 

As for Tails, I've always had issues with my confidence, always underestimating my own skills and intelligence. I also try to help out my friends in any way I can!

Polite and gentle like Orbot on one hand, absolutely plainspoken and straight as an arrow as Cubot on the other hand.

I know Im nothing like Sonic. Im not polite and sefless like him. But I think Im a mix of Silver and Tails.

Im very insecure and unsure of myself un real life. Especially if I am alone. if I have a friend then I feel much better to myself.

Blaze the Cat

 

I'm a bit aloof, and it's hard for me to trust others. However, if someone is able to get past my defences I tend to get on well with them a bit more. People with more Sonic-like personalities, that is; outgoing and friendly, I can really open up to because they have no problem going up to a socially awkward person and just saying "hi". I think I tend to put a lot of people off even speaking to me, so it takes a really confident person to be able to deal with me!

 

Also I can throw fireballs at things.

Day 29: Who am I most like?

 

Interesting, this one.

 

Firstly, I'd say I'm a bit like Sonic these days; I make corny jokes that don't always go through and I try to stick with my friends. In other areas, I can be like ShTh Shadow, brooding

about the past -- at other times still, I can have Cream's optimism and chipper demeanor. That said, I would overall say I'm most like...

I always identified with Tails when I was younger: I was the younger brother to a more popular, athletic and overall more interesting older sibling, and I longed to be his equal, but in different ways. Eventually, I became my own person -- I was the brains to my brother's brawn. Eventually though, his snark began to rub off on me. I'm now a dry, sarcastic son of a gun who is closer with my brother than ever. I'm my own dude, but I still admit my bro is one of the most important things in my life. That's why I'm like Tails, and I'm more okay with that than I thought.

Day 29: Sonic Characters That I Feel I'm Most Similar To:

 

Like many others here, I feel like I have several Sonic characters that I can relate to because of personality:

 

 

Like Sonic, I am fully committed to helping out those in any kinds of trouble or distress all within my means, even if doing so would have consequences and inconvenience me in the process. I also aim to be honest and always keeps my promises, no matter what it could potentially cost me as well. Sonic and I both are very loyal towards our friends.  I can also be pretty stubborn at times, too.

 

 

Tails is kind, sweet-natured and loyal with a positive attitude and is always willing to help out others, and I am the same way (I think I have made the latter obvious around here if I may say so myself!  ). I also relate to Tails by initially being timid and shy, but in time I have slowly opened up and become more outgoing. Tails is not one to grab the spotlight for himself and is more the follower and supporter-type as opposed to the leader. This is me also as I would rather help out and follow along as opposed to initiating things on my own accord.

 

I resonate with Amy as she never gives up, and is very optimistic in always seeing the good side of things and cheerful, always cheering others on. Amy is always full of hope and she almost never seems to find anything hopeless. Also like Amy, I can be very bossy.

 

But you know which Sonic character I feel I am similar to the most?

 

 

Cream. Yes, Cream. Barring definite exceptions, I tend to be polite, use manners and do what I am told or asked to do even like Cream. She is very friendly and tries to befriend nearly everyone that she meets, which is something I definitely tend to do when I meet someone, only to no avail at times, unfortunately, but it's worth a try! Cream tries her best and everything she tries to do. Helping people due to an obligation is one thing; helping people because you actually like to do so is another, and that's exactly how I feel like Cream does.

 

I think it's very interesting that I resonate the most with the Sonic character with whom I am 5 times older than in age (Cream is 6, and I am 30 years old)

Question #29: Which character(s) do you feel that you're the most similar to?

 

Well, crap, I keep missing these, but since we're in the home stretch, I should jump in and fill out a few more, shouldn't I?

 

Characters I can relate to...? Hmm, I suppose I'd go with Shadow, Knuckles, and Vector for a few reasons.

 

In the case of Shadow, I'm typically not a very social or outgoing person, and frankly, I'm not a nice one either. Not that I'm incapable of being friendly or pleasant (because I believe in being polite/decent, even if I dislike socializing), but I prefer to keep to myself or, if I have to, stick close to a select few, and even then, it takes some coaxing to get me to come hang out. This isn't to say I hardly care about anybody, far from it, but damn if I'll actually let them know about it. I also try to stay out of the way of people's problems, unless I feel I'm partially responsible or there's an absolute need for my involvement, because, again, I'd rather keep to myself.

 

With Knuckles, well, I'm a little childish if not petty at times. Also, while I'm not the smartest guy around, I like to think I do have some specialized knowledge where it counts (particularly with the field I'm interested in) though it's rare anybody listens to me or takes me seriously. I'm also fairly cocky about my own abilities, though I'm not always able to back it up (and have fallen flat on my face). I also tend to be a little gullible/naive at times, and perhaps a little overly trusting. I've also got a bit of a temper, but one that's eased up a bit mostly because of positive influences, but there are things that will make me lose my cool and rather quickly at that. If it wasn't for certain people, I probably wouldn't be able to approach things in a more calm fashion. At the end of the day, I do want to improve myself and show people I can back up my own punk talk when I need to.

 

While some of the traits I described are actually what I hate about what SEGA's done with Knuckles in the games, I'd be lying if I said I didn't find it relatable when it's written as more than a lame joke.

 

Vector? I like money, it buys both the essentials and comfort. Better yet when I can earn it doing something I like, so I try to fight for a few bucks when I need it and back up why someone should pay me what I'm asking (while I'm a little pushy, I'm not an out and out unreasonable ass either--I can compromise). Of course, I can still be a bit of a sucker, particularly with time, and while I'm not overly charitable (unlike Vector), I'll occasionally help somebody out if they ask nicely enough and I don't have to go too far out of my way. Oh, and I like my tunes.

 

I think a common thread I'm finding with all three of these characters as well (mostly with Shadow and Knuckles), is that I do have a soft spot for certain people or things, but it's not something I carelessly reveal. I'd rather act tough or aloof than appear to let others walk all over me, but I'll be in your face if you push the right (or wrong, really) button.

I think I'm sort of a mix between Tails, Eggman and Big. Tails because I always try to stay positive and at the same time value knowledge and learning. Eggman because I have a great amount of determination to what I do and because I have a natural inclination towards leadership positions. Big because I'm a fan of the simple life philosophy and being happy and relaxed with what I have.

 

I can't say there's much to add here; for the most part, those characteristics are more passing resemblances to certain characters' situations than being 100% identified with them (which is why I mentioned three). Still, I'm happy to share those few aspects with them, seeing as following them can be of great benefit to my life.

I guess I would be a Tails and Shadow hybrid. Tails' initial low self esteem, combined with Shadows' tendency to be distant from those he doesn't hold strong loyalty to.

[Day 29 : Character(s) You are Most Like ]

 

I think I am most like pre-Rush Blaze.  That is, easily stressed and often anxious in social situations, but nevertheless strong-willed and convicted.  Maybe even a little hot-headed.  I could really relate to Blaze in Rush, and that's how she became one of my favorite characters. And also because she's a princess.

 

In addition, I think I have my moments of being like Rouge. Sometimes I like to rob jewelry stores.  Obsession with jewels, check  Seriously, I love jewelry.  I fear I may come across as a tad materialist because of it, but they are probably my favorite accessories.  In addition, I can be quite dramatic as SA2's interpretation of the character seems to indicate.  (It's interesting, really.  SA2 featured Rouge to be an over-actor, then her 4Kids voice made her out to be extremely stoic.  Strange how that works)  Drop my hat?  END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT!

 

I'm also like Tails in that at one point in my life I was the smart one, lol.  Now I struggle with everything it seems.  Anyway, yeah, I can relate to Tails being a bit more studious.  Also, his admiration of Sonic's courage and free will.  That's something I've always admired about Sonic, but since I can't apply those strengths to myself, I can only say that Tails' admiration for them match me. XD

I feel like I'm somewhat similar to Tails because I'm interested in tech things. I'm not as smart as Tails to build my own dog, though. I also see myself sometimes as a sidekick to a few people and I'm always wanting to do whatever I can to help in a situation when it comes to helping a friend. 

 

 

Blaze the Cat

I feel like I'm somewhat similar to Blaze because of the fact that in Sonic Rush when both her world and Sonic's world was in danger, she carried the entire weight of both worlds on her shoulders and didn't want any help, and I really do feel that I'm that way a lot of times. If a friend is having a problem, then I'll help. If I'm having a problem, then most of the time I want to handle my problem on my own. I believe majority of the times I want to use my own strength to get things done and don't want to rely on others because of the simple reason of being stubborn, or maybe because I simply think I can take on anything and do anything. Something along those lines. Another thing is how Blaze can be quite honest and blunt. In Sonic Rush Adventure she ended up telling Marine that she was a nuisance. I'm really the person who doesn't like to hide his true feelings towards people and will honestly be straightforward and tell someone what I think of them and whatnot. Though, I'm not a straightforward person 24/7 that'll be honest with you on every single last thing you said and did today, but majority of the times I will be when I feel it's needed.

Day 29: Character You're Most Associated With

 

As mentioned in previous days, the impressive array of characters are one of the notable aspects of the series. These characters also possess their unique personalities, being an important factor in how they are portrayed as well as interacted within the series. Fans of these characters may point out their personalities as a strong reason beside of their gameplay elements (if available) as to why they like them; not only that, but they could even be matched with the fan's own personality as well. If I had to choose a character that could be mostly associated with myself it would be...

 

 

Miles "Tails" Prower

 

I am quite related to Tails' personality in different degrees. His shy and timid nature is something that can be shown from me often when I try to socialize with new people, but I can be outgoing once I feel confident enough. His kindness, loyalty and enthusiasm are, without a doubt, the strongest points I share with him, since I always try to be supportive to others and attempt to find a solution whenever there's a problem. While he may be less of a leader kind as well as being commonly known as Sonic's sidekick, games like Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 have shown that he is willing to kick some of Eggman robots on his own; such determination can be related with me at times since I can be both supportive and independent whenever the situation is required. His knowledge on technology is something that relates with me as well: I know quite a good chunk of techy stuff while I try to stay up to date with what's going with technology's current and future advancements.

Day 29: Which character do you resemble the most?

I find it easy to identify with Shadow's traits of being less talkative and extroverted than other characters; being an artist, I find it very easy to work and be alone. Subsequently, I'm also not particularly fond of distractions and prefer to do given task in as efficient a manner as possible. This doesn't mean I can't work in a team much less be a follower. Teamwork with the right people can be a great means to an end.

Hmm... good question Doc, I don't think I've ever thought about this before.

I'm sort of a mix of a handful of characters.

I think I'm most like Sliver, even if the world is crumbling around me I stay positive. I try to do what's right, but like Silver what I think is the right thing is not always right. I can be a bit naive occasionally too.

I'm also like Cream in that I'm polite and nice to everyone I meet.

I can be really lazy like Big, and I'm not the most intelligent person out there.

I'm also like Amy because I like to cheer up people around me and send out positive vibes.

And lastly, I'm like Blaze in the early parts of rush in that I'm not so good in social situations, and tend not to open up around others.

I am but one man, but I associate and synchronize with many!

I consider myself a hybrid of Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Blaze, Zazz, and Zavok.

 

Sonic the Hedgehog Free spirit of the wind. Like this super-star I love to run about when opportunity presents itself! I also aim to stay in fit shape, and right whatever wrongs are within my power of facing!

 

Like Tails, I can be rather brainy and show off my smarts quite a tad, especially when it comes to school or one of my hobbies!

 

Ah and Knuckles the Echidna, ranking amongst my utmost favorite of characters!Like this force to be reckoned with, I can be tough when I need to, and maybe stoke the flames a bit myself. Naivety can arise as well, but I won't let that stop me!

 

Ah yes, Blaze the Cat, I see in her qualities of shyness that I myself get feelings of, especially when I'm having a difficult time associating with environments and people that don't feel particularly applicable. However, I also share Blaze's confidence factor, which helps me shine on in sometimes even the darkest of hours when need be.

 

Zazz...Hmph, well, there are definetly times when I love to just let loose, go wild and act a bit crazy, and playfully it mirrors zany Zazz to a degree!

 

Of course, there's Zavok too!

 

Now this guy is quite versatile like me, but I gravitate towards his leadership quality as well!

I'll go with Blaze. I'm very shy and quiet, I like to keep to myself, and I don't go out of my way to interact with other people. Only my closest friends can convince me to leave my apartment, much like how Blaze won't open up until Sonic convinces her to do so. I've also got a bit of Big in me. I am very lazy, and sometimes that gets the best of me. Some of my best memories of childhood involve going fishing.

 

Yeah, they're both cats, and that's probably another reason I can relate to them. I absolutely love felines of all kinds, and I have for my entire life. I have two cats at home and they're my pride and joy. It shouldn't be a surprise that I can see myself in a fiction cat over a fiction hedgehog or fox.
