Darker Atmosphere for Sonic?

No darker atmosphere. Sonic Team tried and FAILED with Shadow's game and Sonic06. Shadow could have succeeded if it's darkness was more parody of darkness, but Sonic Team seemed to take it seriously and filled it with clichés. I have no problem with serious stories filled with humor and the characters not taking it seriously until the end (Sonic Adventure and Sonic Unleashed were great Sonic stories, Sonic Colors wasn't that bad either).

Darker Atomosphere for Sonic if it's actually done well. Sonic Adventure 2, Unleashed or even the storybook games with some dark elements to it is the only games IMO that got the darker atmosphere rig
