Where did you get that "It doesn't matter" plays in CE's result screen?

Read Hogfather's last post.

Also, as I said before, the main riff of SA2's "It Doesn't Matter" was already audibly confirmed thanks to a gamescom playthrough of Modern City escape which included it after the second chorus of "Escape from the City". All that remains to be known is if the section of "It Doesn't Matter" that plays during the results screen is any different.

Bear in mind lots of people said they didn't notice it in the first place.

Indeed. I'm willing to bet the problems that a few people were noticing were due to the television sets being used. Depending on the type of HD television, and what connections were going between the console and TV, there can be little to extreme lag between player input and what happens on the screen. Case in point, my HD television, which has absolutely no HD inputs. I have to connect my PS3 to it with standard yellow/red/white cables, and it lags like there's no tomorrow.

Oh, ok thanks, I read it. That's interesting indeed :)

I've read just a few previews about the PS3-version and most of the people who played it had a problem with the input-lag. Both at E3 and Gamescon.

But at least this confirmes that it has to have been the TV-screens that was the problem. For me and others who didn't know that it was just a problem for a small amount of people.

I noticed it in the demo but not at the event today. I wasn't specifically looking out for it though; to be honest, I wasn't even sure what version I was playing half the time. I did try the 360 version last though and it seemed identical to the PS3 stuff. I really do not think PS3 owners need to worry, it played fantastically.

The input lag can be fixed. What I really want to know is how the frame rate is. I mean, if you look at the recent gameplay of the beginning of modern chemical plant it looks almost as bad as Adabat day. Not to mention the shockingly noticeable draw distance in modern sky sanctuary. I hope this is fixed in the final build.unsure.png

Also quick Q. The whole C Sonic HA is real or fake?

Didn't classic Sonic had homing attack in Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Sonic 3D Blast?

NO to Sonic 3 & Knuckles. In 3D Blast Sonic had to pick up the gold shield first for a homing attack.

Since i like Sonic 3D, i think it would be cool if there actually was a homing attack-shield somewhere in the game.

I recall seeing a homing attack in Sonic 3 & Knuckles when you play as Hyper Sonic.

That's a mid-air boost in any direction that also destroys all enemies on screen with the resulting flash.

I had that problem, but only for the sonic generations demo, nothing else had input lag, and i have an hd tv with hd connectors. So good theory, but it has holes.

Remember, guys. It's the Live Sonic 20th Anniversary Special stage show, tomorrow! biggrin.png

Sega TGS 2011 Stream:

There's a very good chance that we'll finally here some more music from the game. Maybe even the theme song! Heck, last year we heard Free, Reach for the Stars and even Sonic Colours' ending theme - Speak With Your Heart, at TGS.

Quick update: those of us at gamefest have to be careful about filming pods due to some booths being a bit touchy about it. Sega don't mind though, but since their booth has a nintendo area.... And I'm on my own so I can't film myself playing it.

LOL there are a lot of people playing the game who are not that good.

Best comment at Generations so far "That chap is playing as daddy Sonic"

Daddy sonic...

Daddy Sonic for ASR DLC.
