Since Nintendo owners had been introduced to SEGA's mascot on their systems, good old Yuji Naka and his crew have brought us a compilation game of all the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis titles - much like Sonic Jam on the Sega Saturn before it. Although a very good idea, the neglecting both Knuckles' Chaotix and Sonic CD has disappointed Sonic fans across the world.
There's not that many new additions to this compilation unfortunately. Nothing like the wealth of bonus content found on Sonic Jam - however the large collection of Archie comic scans is quite impressive. If a little irrelevant outside the US. Flicky and Ristar (yes, Ristar) are included as hidden games, as members of Sonic Team have worked on these in the past. So at least there's that.
