Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop Announced for Apple Arcade (UPDATED With Trailer)

SEGA's love affair with Apple Arcade shows no sign of waning, with yet another new exclusive set to come to the service next month: Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop. The game is set to launch April 4, and will be available on Apple Arcade compatible iPads, iPhones, Macs and Apple TVs, and will feature controller support. SEGA is listed as the developer.

The game will feature the following:

• A story mode
• 24 Playable Characters
• Multiple rulesets, including ones from different Puyo games, including Puyo Puyo 2 and Puyo Puyo Fever
• A Lesson mode for beginners
• An Endless mode, which will let players play for high scores on a leaderboard
• 4 player multiplayer

The game will also feature Sonic icons and Sonic-themed Puyos, like some previous Puyo Puyo games:

Finally, it should be noted that this is the latest of many games rumored by leaker @MbKKssTBhz5 to be confirmed, lending them even more credibility.
