Spin Dash or Boost

So what are the Goods and bads about both moves..

Only good thing i can think of for the boost is that it makes you go fast instantly and even that i dont really like.

Spindash if used right could play a major impact in a sonic game. Remember sonic 1 where you had to go through the walls. They have never really used it as a big gameplay element except for when going fast. Sonic 3& knuckles however came with some more ideas. (marble garden wheel, lava reef wheel).

They can do a whole lot more I think. + I enjoy using it. Who doesnt actually
