Oh come on now. Bottomless pits are only crappy when you're running along at a speed area and you're thrown into one with no warning. This stupid idea that any and all bottomless pits in a Sonic game

I'm coming to really hate the pre-gameplay sequences showing Sonic running and jumping and shit; without a context (read: background, foreground) it feels wrong, and it looks awful. It's just so fake.

The actual gameplay looked kinda awesome though.
