Who is your favourite side character?

I take it the "original three" you mean is Sonic, Tails and Dr. Eggman? For a second, I thought it was Sonic, Tails and Knuckles, but unfortunately (and I do mean unfortunately, as I love Knuckles) everybody's favourite echidna has taken a knock in recent years. Which is a great shame.

I did actually mean Knuckles as the third but thinking about it he has been rather absent in the last few main games, rightly so considering his job, but I can't see it being too long before SEGA brings him in for a nice big role. Eggman is the other main player but I've put him on the outside in my mind since he's the bad guy of the series, I'm not saying he's a side character and certainly he's more than just a plot device, I just don't consider him a main character maybe because he isn't one of the heroes.

Marine the Raccoon. She is an awesome new character and I wish she have gotten the attention she deserves (She is not even a playable character in her debut in Sonic Rush Adventure, and was nothing but a NPC. She should've followed Blaze the same way Tails followed Sonic). I also like Blaze the Cat because she is cool.

The Chaotix

Vector especally. Espio is cool, and I dont particularly care for Charmy, but I feel this group as a whole has a lot of potential. Vector has some of the best characterization in the series, what with his real life concerns and absent minded gruff additude. I think these guys could probably hold an entire game on their own with their current characterizations. (And I know about Knuckles Chaotix, I just mean their current modern incarnations.)

I can't remember if I mentioned the chaotix, but Vector really surprised me in Heroes, while he looks like a total fool during the story he was actually investigating everything about his "client" and by the end of their adventure he already knew about Eggman's plot, such a short moment of badassery changed my look on him and the chaotix as a group.

From better too best my favorites consist of:

4)Kneecapion Mace: knuckles lil' brother, (read the Archies!)

3)Bean the dynamite: A hyper active person that likes explosions and shiny things! (actually I think I described myself!)

2)Might the Aradilo: He protects Ray the flying squirrel, acts like his big brother, and mentors him. And also he is freackin strong!

1)Ray the flying squirrel: He flys, he is hyper, he is brave, and he is clever and sneaky. Good enough reasons in my opinion.
