Sonic Speed Simulator Gemerl Returns In Tomorrow's Sonic Speed Simulator Update

Sonic Advance fans are sure to eat good with this week's update for Sonic Speed Simulator, as the Chao School event has arrived to teach you a thing or two about using pets! Your incentive to learn? Having Gemerl as a playable character for the very first time!

Our very own @Ryannumber1gamerhas arrived on the scene in the test servers to give us the inside scoop of what changed in this update!

PLAYABLE GEMERL? WHAT A GEM!

 

That's right! The reformed Gizoid and companion to Cream and Vanilla is now an unlockable character in Speed Sim, obtainable by completing a few simple objectives designed to teach you the unique perks certain Chao can get you! Earn trails, pet inventory, Extreme Gear and even Chocola as a Fast Friend as you collect your way to Gemerl and 2000 Red Star Rings!

Additionally, Twitter user Sonic Speed Simulator Icon Leaks discovered a unique feature to Gemerl when you upgrade him to Level 3 Character Mastery: The ability to fly despite being a non-Super character! A first for Sonic Speed Simulator!

BLUE JUSTICE ESCAPED FROM THE CITY...

City Escape has now been added to the normal world lineup, signifying that it is here to stay after the Movie Sonic event! The Movie characters however are gone... Likely to return this December for Sonic the Hedgehog 3's theatrical release.

Series Knuckles on the other hand might be gone for good. Previously, it was reported that Series Knuckles will not return for Sonic Forces Mobile. He was a one-and-done due to the fact that it's highly unlikely Knuckles will be renewed for a second season.

While there is no official confirmation that Speed Sim will suffer the same fate, it is worth noting that there is a high chance the hat wearing Echidna might not be returning at all. So hope you got him before this update!

I WANNA FLY HIGH!

Missed the Clockwork Shadow event but wish to take part in the Tornado Assault minigame? Well, it has returned as a permanent addition to Emerald Hill so you can play it as long as you like! There are currently no rewards tied to it, but it's a fun way to use your mounts when you're ever bored!

WHO'S UP ON STAGE?

Got Robux to burn, and need to catch up on some older characters? This week's Sale podium features a few rare seasonal variants like Valentines' Sonic and Amy. Plus you can nab yourself Aviator Tails, Batten Rouge and Android Shadow Red!

To this day, I'm still not sure what Sonic Speed Simulator really is. I thought it was connected to something called Roblox and I'm not sure what that is either.

And I'm talking in terms of if it's an official game, fan game, mod, online game, MMO, things like that.

It does have a lot of content which is neat.

It’s an officially licensed game within Roblox.Roblox in of itself is an official game platform designed for game creation, official or unofficial. 

So while Speed Sim’s developers have had their controversies, the game itself is official and above board.

As for Speed Simulator’s gameplay, it’s fairly simple - you run around open Sonic zones with some really great physics, collecting rings, XP, and red star rings, and completing events and missions to unlock a heap of characters from the games, Prime and more. The playable worlds at the minute being Green Hill, Lost Valley, Emerald Hill, New Yoke City, Hill Top, Speed Jungle, No Place, Cyber Station, Metal City, and City Escape. 

Furthermore, there’s also boss fights against Eggman, and Neo Metal Sonic, a Sky Chase type stage, racing, extreme gear, and more.
