Paramount Pictures Sonic Movie 3 Is A Go! And So Is A Live-Action Spinoff Series With Knuckles!

Found this person working as a Global Marketing Strategy Intern at Paramount Pictures. It's said that she will be working on Sonic 3. She will also working on the Knuckles spin-off series.

It's now September. Filming will be starting in the UK soon. I'm not sure if anybody shared this before. This was announced not too long ago. The only scenes they will be able to filmed are the ones with only the CGI characters (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, and maybe a few more characters like Amy and Rouge.)

There are some big projects still shooting in the UK – Paddington In Peru is ongoing without US actor Rachel Zegler; sources say Paramount’s Sonic The Hedgehog 3 is gearing up to shoot, not involving actors from September, using a splinter unit to capture plate shots; and Netflix also has some series in production. But there isn’t enough to go around.

So, it's look like Sonic 3 had just already begin filming without actors. However, good news! The writers' strike is going to end.

One of the actors from the Knuckles show is also going in the movie as a party guest. The guy will also play a bowler in the show.:

Somebody in London already saw a filming set in Canary Wharf. He also saw some people dressed as G.U.N. soldiers. Here are some set photos of some G.U.N. Trucks and some Japanese police cars taken by sgtbilkotim from Twitter. It’s look like Sonic 3 might take place in Japan?

That's a bit too early to show off Sonic 3, isn't it?  Especially since the movie isn't coming out until 2024.

Looks like the rumors are true. We will get our first look of Sonic 3 (Probably likely a title announcement like they did for Sonic 2.) at ShowEast starting tomorrow.:

Yeah, it's a little too early for a trailer since they just start filming a few months ago. They could possibly just show the title announcement there. I will be surprised if they show some footage there.

I guess it make sense because it will save a lot of screentime for the third movie and won't have to waste screentime on introducing new characters and focus on what's important for the third movie. So, the TV show might take care of that. So, it's possible we will see Amy, Rouge, and Metal Sonic getting introduced in this TV show instead.

If the TV show is live action/CGI hybrid like the other two movies, maybe they could have the setting take place in Boston or NYC. Pretty much just like Sonic 2 did have Seattle and the first movie have San Francisco. Also, it's possible they could go back to San Francisco in the third movie, since they are planning to bring a lot of elements from Sonic Adventure 2.

Vancouver have been used as a stand in for Boston and NYC which Station Square and Empire City is probably based on. I know none of these pictures have nothing to do with Sonic, but I'm just using these as examples of Vancouver being as a stand in for Boston and NYC.:

Well, I heard there is a rumor they might be filming in LA. Several crew members in LA were listed in crew of Sonic 3 on IMDb. Since IMDb isn't accurate, we will have to wait to see if the filming in LA is true.

It's possible they could used LA as a stand-in for San Francisco or maybe the movie will take place in LA this time? I don't know.

Also, some new cast members for the movie. It's seem that Krysten Ritter rumor is true. Also, I think that little girl is playing Maria and some international versions of the logos (Thai, Italian, and Mexican).:

The logo is pretty cool. Wild that we went from Sonic 2 to Adventure 2, but then again, these movies barely followed the games anyways, which is why I think Sonic 3 will veeeery loosely adapt SA2. It will have Maria, Gerald, maybe even Rouge and ARK, but I doubt it'll follow the exact script, eventhough it already works fine like one, unlike Sonic 1/2 (the games)... I guess Chaos and Tikal might appear in Sonic 4.. If it happens.
