Which Sonic timeline/era is the best: Classic, Modern or Boom?

OF COURSE MODERN IS THE BEST! Who do you take us for? lol. but i do think it's the best by far.

Isn't Adventure Sonic considered a separate timeline/era by SEGA, because of Generations? I also consider the Classic Era as having two timeliens, alongside the Modern era. (The New Classic Era- Sonic 4 Episode I & II, Sonic Mania, Sonic Forces and The Post/New Modern Era- Sonic Lost World, Sonic Forces)

Timelines didn't exist back when they made Generations, just "eras," i.e. broad descriptions of the general gameplay used in a sequence of consecutive releases.  For that matter, timelines also don't really exist now; Classic and Modern are just separate, with no attention paid to how this affects Modern's backstory (likely because the series no longer cares about backstories either).  Time has been abolished in the Sonic series...
