Brave Wave is proud to announce that it is collaborating with SEGA to bring the legendary soundtracks for both SONIC ADVENTURE and SONIC ADVENTURE 2 to vinyl for the first time this Winter! Both albums will each contain two LP records and will feature a selection of the games' best tracks remastered especially for vinyl and handpicked by Sonic Adventure series Lead Composer and Sound Director Jun Senoue and the team. SONIC ADVENTURE OFFICIAL SOUNDTRACK VINYL EDITION and SONIC ADVENTURE 2 OFFICIAL SOUNDTRACK VINYL EDITION will be released this Winter.

The first pressing will contain special vinyl colors that represent the essence of both games: blue and white 180-gram vinyl for SONIC ADVENTURE and blue and red 180-gram vinyl for SONIC ADVENTURE 2. All pressings after the first will contain standard black 180-gram vinyl. All versions of both albums will include a comprehensive booklet featuring a reflective interview with Jun Senoue and head of Sonic Team Takashi Iizuka, as well as Liner Notes by John Linneman of Digital Foundry, song lyrics and character art.

Massively pissed off that I missed out on the Limited Edition. The pre-orders opened at a totally unworkable time for me, and actually were limited to just 100 in Europe (the remaining 200 went to North America). I hate this method of pre-ordering...

Just wanted to say I find this practice to be very frustrating and stupid. I preferred how the other company handled things with Mania vinyl and gave us a two day window to order and they took your money right then and there. I been on my phone and laptop refreshing the LE page since 2:55pm and it wasn't supposed to become available until 3:00pm, and the option to add to cart never popped up for me. I want to say after about...15mins was when it finally updated with "Sold out" and it's like...what?

 

I went ahead and placed an order for both of them separately. I'm grateful that at the very least I can have them in my Sonic collection, but man, this still sucks. Ah, oh well.

Same happened to me it never updated. I said fuck it I own the sa2 multi CD I'll just buy a sa 1 version I hate stores with piss poor site updating functions

Did you use the link they provided on their Twitter or through the homepage? For some reason the homepage link was updated at the right time, but the other link was updated 15 minutes later.

I had my girlfriend help me get it and I was able to buy it since she was on the homepage.

This was the last straw on internet pre orders for me. I wanted this more than anything, and waited with all the info ready... and wasn't able to get one. I can't stand this system of pre orders. My internet is garbage but that shouldn't decide if I can get one or not.

Absolutely. F4F changed their system a while ago - anyone who orders in a set time will get the limited edition version, rather than just the first X number of people. And as already mentioned, this is what Data Discs did for the the Mania vinyl. The other alternative is to run a raffle on orders. It's really absolutely shit.

I was surprised that they only have 300 limited editions available worldwide and only 100 in Europe. I got my dates mixed up so I didn't get a chance to get a Limited Edition but odds are I wouldn't have got one anyway with the limited number available. Still ordered the vinyls as they would be nice to add to my collection. Sadly, I think I have seen on Twitter some people have put them on eBay for stupid prices
