Sonic Collections? (Games,DVD's,Plushies,Figures etc)

Well, to be fair, that isn't official merch XD My girlfriend made it for me along with my huge pair of life-size tails XD

It's still awesome though! I remember back during homecoming last year, my ex-girlfriend placed a Tails plush on my guarder instead of the traditional bear! Needless to say after homecoming I took the plush off it so I could add it to my small plush collection.

I just won another Tails plushie on Ebay, he was £40 with postage included in that price but it's a rare one! (my dad got on my case for spending that much on it despite it being my money but whatever)

Apparantley these were only available in vending machines at a SEGA arcade of some kind and were never sold in retail stores, so yeah, as a huge Tails fan I'm pleased with this =D Can't wait 'till it arrives. =3

Just kidding of course, but yeah, I had to place a bid with less than 5 seconds left to get it, someone else quite clearly had their eye on it XD

Also, if this description on the plush was true then this is indeed very rare, more so than I had originally thought!

In MINT Condition has been dry stored since its purchase in 2001 direct from Japan

This plush doll was put in UFO Catchers in the Sega Gaming Arcade in Japan in 1998

These items were never sold in retail

I cannot stress the rarity of this item

Leon, yeah, the Tails plush there is pretty rare... but certainly not one of the most uber-rare plushes out there. I mean, I have one, after all, and i know a few other who do too.

I almost owned the manual for the Waku Waku Sonikku Patrol Car ^^; I decided not to bid on it because my finances are crappy right now, but any other time I would have been all over it. Not quite the same as owning the 'car' itself, I know, but still XD;

Guess that would have counted for something, since it's not practical having the car stashed around anywhere. Although, there was a manual for that? Was it for store owners who wanted to figure out how to set it up? That would have been cool to have.

In fact, has anybody ever reported to actually owning games such as Waku Waku, SegaSonic, Sonic the Fighters, the MegaPlay version of Sonic 1, etc.? Not even GG! from The GHZ could make a proper page on the former.

Ah yes, I believe I told you about that one. I too was nearly the owner of that manual. Decided not to buy it since I wouldn't really know what to do with it other than say to people "Oh I have the manual" Chances are, the manual is rarer than the actual car itself... I was talking to it's new owner about it... a one T-Bird....

A manual would have been shipped with each car right?

Now think about how many manuals were simply thrown out due to storage (when you see the manual, it looks like a pretty big thing).

How many manuals were kept with the car when various arcades sold/scrapped their cars in favour of a new arcade machine?

Think about how many manuals were just destroyed or damaged by accidents...

And slowly you get an idea as to how rare these things are.

Note, neither T nor myself could decide if the manual is just that white document... or if also includes those green and pink files just under it. Reading the original listing it's not that clear as to how much of whats in the photo T has actually won.

lol It's going to be fun trying to find someone to translate it, but I think it'll mainly be assembly and error message meanings. Still all what we need now is the car!

Yikes! You people are crazy, but I respect that. To be fair, back i the last 1990's I had a good shelfs worth of Sonic stuff including toys, plushies, all the games, every Archie issue (including spinoffs and specials) up to issue 120, a few animation cells and 3-4 original pages from the comics.

Now I'm 24 years old, living with my girlfriend, so most of my stuff is back home in boxes. But I do have all my games and a handful of unique/cool looking merch on a small shelf in our guest room.
