Might have found a way to get these if you live outside the US.

 

I have not tried this yet so not sure how quick they'll be to dispatch your codes but... there might be a way for those outside the US to get these games.

 

Step 0: This is for PS3 titles only, whilst you can do it with a Vita it becomes a lot more complicated due to the account restrictions on the memory cards.

 

Step 1: you need a US PSN account, these can be made free on any PS3. Fill out all the details/address etc, a random hotel address will do just fine.

 

Step 2: Go to play-asia and find their US PSN codes. (cheapest code is $10 = £7.77.)

 

Step 3: Buy the card, code is then emailed to you. (no idea on how long it takes).

 

Step 4: Log into your US account either by the PS3, or via the website (use the direct links here)

 

Step 5: Enter the codes.

 

Step 6: buy the games/download the games to your PS3.

 

Step 7: Log into PS3 using your EU account. 

 

Step 8: Start playing your epically cheap games. 

 

You should be able to get trophies on your EU account. PSN+ saves should still backup. It'll be like you downloaded an EU game.

 

I've done this with free games before on the PSN and had no problems, so there shouldn't be any problems with paid for ones, the only hard part is getting credit onto the account. However if the Play-asia account code is delivered instantly via email, it would just be like entering your typical account code. You can then buy as you would in the EU.

You can pretty much get full value for the games you bought. Funny thing is I bought some games during the holidays for half off. By trading them in, I'm PROFITING up to $20 for each game. I also might trade in Sonic Lost World for 3DS. I'm slowly moving away from playing games as I have little time for them.
